Chapter 3382

While the middle-aged man was speaking, Jared had discreetly let out the parasitic silkworms. By thetime the middle-aged man stepped into the arcane array, the parasitic silkworms had crept into hisbody.novelbin

This time, Jared had unleashed all the silkworms he had, keeping only the parasitic silkworm king. Afterall, he felt it a shame to use so many of the parasitic silkworms which he had raised with his own blood.

However, faced with a Sixth Level Tribulator cultivator, Jared needed a significant amount of them, forsomeone of that caliber had an extremely attuned spiritual sense.

Fortunately, the parasitic silkworms Jared raised were particularly powerful. Even against a Sixth LevelTribulator, they would make quick work of his spiritual sense.

Within a few minutes, the middle-aged man’s eyes became listless, and all that was left of him was anempty shell. Watching the change in the man, Rosetta wanted to destroy his physical body but wasstopped by Jared.

“Leave his corpse. I have use for it.”

Jared pulled the man’s body to the side of the arcane array and stuffed a pill into the man’s mouth.Following that, the aura of a Sixth Level Tribulator gradually emanated from the man’s body.

In the meantime, Jared arranged another arcane array with the weapons on the floor. Thereafter, awhite mist saturated the area again.

The difference this time was that the aura of a Sixth Level Tribulator was being emitted from the mist-covered arcane array.

Using the lifeless shell of the middle-aged man, Jared created a Sixth Level Tribulator scarecrow, whose powerful presence within the arcane array would keep other cultivators away.

Once he was done with his arrangements, Jared reminded Rosetta not to step out of the arcane arraybefore continuing to absorb celestial energy.

For the next three days, no one came to bother them, either because no one found them or whoeverthat did was warded off by the aura of a Sixth Level Tribulator. As a result, Jared managed to cultivatein peace for three entire days.

Although Jared’s Focus Technique was incredibly powerful, he still failed to absorb all the celestialenergy within the area in that period.

Meanwhile, outside the Celestial Battlefield, the three-day advantage of the VIP token holders hadended. Thus, hordes of cultivators began to swarm into it, causing the Celestial Battlefield to suddenlybe brimming with cultivators.

As for Creston Sect, they had accumulated large amounts of spirit coins and resources from the sale oftokens.

“Mr. Chevalier, Old Mr. Giuvali, we have obtained the tokens to enter the Celestial Battlefield. We cango in now,” Cloud said to Hamish and Misho after purchasing the tokens.

He alone had paid for the tokens for the entire group, which numbered more than ten people. SinceCloud was wealthy, Jared assigned the responsibility of obtaining the tokens to him and Feenix.

“Thank you very much, Mr. Seizon.”

Everyone took turns to express their gratitude to Cloud.

“There’s no need to thank me. I’m just carrying out Mr. Chance’s instructions. One more thing- once weenter the Celestial Battlefield, we might land in a random place, so there’s a chance we’ll be separated

despite entering the battlefield together. I have here a few communication devices. All of you shouldtake one. They will help us keep in touch in the event of emergencies.”

Cloud brought out a bag of communication devices and gave them out to everyone.

To the other cultivators, the communication devices were rare contraptions, but to Jared, who hadforged them, they were merely tools he could create with a snap of his fingers.

With that, everyone stepped through the entrance and entered the Celestial Battlefield with thecommunication devices in hand.

Back inside the Celestial Battlefield, Jared gradually opened his eyes. Staring at the undisturbedarcane array, he asked, “Ms. Lothian, did anything happen over the last three days?”

“It was uneventful outside the arcane array, but the spirit beast egg seemed to have moved by itself alittle,” Rosetta replied as she pointed at the beast egg.
