“She’s my friend!” replied Jared.
“Is she really only a friend to you?” Livya lifted her eyebrow. “I think I saw you two sleeping in the sameroom.”
Jared smiled wordlessly in response. I didn’t expect Livya to be secretly observing me. Seeing thatJared remained silent, Livya asked again, “Ms. Feenix is your woman, right? How many femalepartners do you have, Mr. Chance?”
Surprised by Livya’s question, he stared at her. Why is she asking me that question?

Suddenly, they heard Livya screaming loudly, “Release me, you thug! Let me go!”
Without delay, Jared and Miya sprinted toward Livya. Not too far ahead of them, a towering young manwas clutching Livya’s wrist. With a sleazy grin, he uttered, “Hey, do you think you can leave without
apologizing for bumping into me gorgeous?”
The young man’s grip was so firm that Livya couldn’t escape. A few people were behind the youngman, and they were all laughing. The surrounding bystanders were all startled.
“Who is this idiot? How dare he bully a daughter of the Seizon family!”
