Lucian glared at Jared icily. “I brought it with me, so let my son go!”
“All right, then.” Jared picked up Xandros, preparing to proceed with the exchange with. Lucian.
“Allow me to accompany you, Mr. Chance. Just in case he pulls a dirty trick,” said Yuven. After all,Jared would be in great danger if Lucian sprung a surprise attack during the handoff.
