Chapter 2927 Willing To Stay

“Ms. Baptiste, the vast expanse of the far north is boundless. I'm afraid it'll be quite challenging tolocate someone,” one of the guardians said.

“Barken, the three of us can split up and search. Even if they run, they can't get too far. Once we findthem, make sure to restrain all of them. If that's not possible, at least capture that brat who can usedemonic fire!” Lynette ordered.

“Ms. Baptiste, that's... not a good idea. It's risky for you to act alone. If something were to happen toyou, Lord Inferno Devil would blame us,” Barken said worriedly.novelbin

“Hmph! There's no need to be afraid of a few insignificant cultivators like them. Even if they possessthe Demon Flogger, what can they do?” Lynette snorted, her Top Level Ninth Level Body Fusion Realmstrength bursting forth.

The only thing Lynette sought at that moment was an opportunity. Once she acquired it, she couldbreak through Body Fusion Realm and advance to the realm of Tribulator.

Once she overcame all the trials of a Tribulator, she could ascend to being a Semi-Demon Immortalcultivator, and that opportunity might lie with Jared, who had mastered demonic fire.

Lynette's eyes blazed with intense passion.

“You're a prodigy, Ms. Baptiste. It's a given that you're not afraid of those insignificant humancultivators.” Barken hastily bootlicked Lynette.

“In that case, let's split up and act separately. Otherwise, if they escape, none of us can bear thepunishment from Master!”

With that, Lynette leaped up, disappearing into the vast snowy plains.

The two guardians exchanged glances, then left to search in different directions.

Meanwhile, Jared and his party were desperately fleeing for their lives.

Since Jared had mentioned the Demonic Cultivators pursuing them were highly formidable, that mustindeed be the case.

After running a distance, Jared frowned and came to an abrupt halt.

“What's the matter, Mr. Chance?” Vasily asked.

“We can't escape like this. The enemy is too strong, and they're chasing us from multiple directions, sosomeone has to stay behind to stave them off and buy time for the others,” Jared explained.

After he finished his sentence, everyone fell silent because they knew whoever stayed behind to delaythe enemies would be doomed, and no one wanted to die.

Vasily glanced at Jared, then gritted his teeth and volunteered. “Mr. Chance, I'm willing to stay behindto hold off the pursuing Demonic Cultivators. You should hurry up and run.”

Jared shook his head at Vasily. “It can't be you. With your capabilities, they could kill you with a singlestrike. You won't keep them at bay for long. I'll stay, but I'll need several more powerful people to assistme. Jerison, Vasily, bring Viola with you and escape westward. Be quick!”

After saying that, Jared swept his gaze across Sunny, Konce, Lofton, and Cloud. After all, theircultivation levels were the highest among the group.

If weaker cultivators like Jerison, Vasily, Viola, and the others were to fight the Demonic Cultivators,Jared figured even the aftershocks of the battle could be fatal to them.

“I won't leave. I want to stay and keep you company, Jared!” Viola refused to go.

“Even if you stay, you won't be of any help and will only distract me. All of you with weaker abilitiesshould flee at once! If anyone else wishes to stay and assist me, you're welcome. Still, I must informyou that if we don't join forces and work together now, all of us might end up being consumed by thoseDemonic Cultivators!” Jared uttered gravely.

“Jared, I'll stay. Putting aside the fact that you saved my life, it is my obligation as a human cultivator toeliminate these Demonic Cultivators.” Sunny was the first to voice his commitment to remain behind.

Following Sunny's lead, Cloud also chose to stay.

Konce and Lofton exchanged glances and nodded, indicating their willingness to help as well.

After all, there was strength in numbers. Not to mention, they were the most powerful in the party.
