Feenix and Aislin were like sacrificial lambs heading to the altar right then. They could only watchhelplessly as Kaison stalked toward them with a sneer on his face. “Feenix, we can’t allow this monsterto sully us, even if it means our death!”
While saying that, Aislin made to bite her own tongue. She planned to commit suicide by doing so,determined not to allow Kaison to get his way. Nodding, Feenix followed suit.
She did not want to continue living either. Her body belonged to Jared, and she would never allowanyone else to touch her. Unwilling to do anything to betray the man, she would rather die.
Seeing that the two women actually wanted to bite their tongues and commit suicide, Kaison instantlysaw red. Gosh, why on earth are they so stubborn? Is chastity even more important than their lives?
“Even if you two end your lives by biting your tongues, I’ll still use your bodies. Even if you’re dead, I’llnever show your dead bodies any mercy!”

At just that precise moment, the dungeon door was kicked open violently. The deafening bang madeKaison jump in fright, and he swiftly jerked his head back to see who it was.
“What are you doing, Kaison? You’re simply shameless!” Quinley bellowed at Kaison upon glimpsingFeenix and Aislin huddled in the corner.
When Kaison saw that it was her, his panic abated, and he retorted, “Don’t poke your nose into mymatters, Quinley! Hurry up and leave!”
“I’m not leaving. With me here, don’t even dream of picking on them both!” Rushing to Feenix andAislin, Quinley shielded them behind her.
“As I’ve said, Quinn, don’t interfere in my affairs. Otherwise, don’t blame me for getting physical withyou!” Kaison roared, going ballistic.
“Even if you were to make a move against me, I’d never stand idly by while you hurt these two girls. Ifyou persist, I’ll go and tell Mason about this.”
Quinley threatened him with the head of the Tall family, Mason. Upon hearing that, Kaison immediatelybacked down, for Mason had absolutely no idea about him forcing himself on innocent women.Otherwise, their older brother would never allow him to do so.
“What’s the big deal about me bedding a few women when I’m already a grown man, Quinley? Whymust you pick trouble with me?”
He started sweet-talking her to side with him. “Since you’re already a grown man, Kaison, you canmarry a woman legally. Considering the Tall family’s capabilities, would you suffer a lack of willingcandidates? Why are you forcing yourself onto two innocent women? You’re simply shameless!”
Quinley glowered at her brother. At her furious look, Kaison ultimately heaved a sigh in exasperationbefore he whirled around and stormed off.
After he had left, Quinley turned back to Feenix and Aislin. She reassured, “Don’t be afraid anymore.You’re fine now.”
“Thank you!” Both Feenix and Aislin thanked her.
“Why are you thanking me? If it weren’t for my brother, this wouldn’t have happened to you both. Comewith me and stay at my quarters for the time being. That way, Kaison won’t dare do anything out of
line.”
As Quinley spoke, she led them out of the dungeon. When they reached the door, however, twosentries blocked their path.
“Ms. Tall, Mr. Kaison has given the order that these two women aren’t allowed to leave the dungeon,”one of the sentries uttered, very much conflicted.
“Get out of my way!” Quinley ordered coldly. “Please don’t make things difficult for us, Ms. Tall.Otherwise, Mr. Kaison would kill us.”
The sentry wore an aggrieved expression on his face.
“What makes you think I won’t kill you?”
While saying that, Quinley placed her sword against his neck. At that, the two sentries promptly paledin fright and no longer dared to stop her.
Thus, Quinley brought Feenix and Aislin away.
