“Since you’re a member of the Tall family, you’re our enemy.”
Vasker’s face was contorted in a mask of fury. “Who exactly are the lot of you? I don’t even know you,so how are we enemies?”
Quinley had bewilderment written all over her face. She was not at all acquainted with Vasily and theothers.
Not only did she usually seldom leave home, but she was also forbidden from interfering in manymatters regarding the Tall family. Hence, she had no idea about the conflict between her family and theArchaic Body cultivators.
In truth, Vasily and the others did not recognize her either. They only surrounded her after hearingJared’s introduction.
