“How about it? Would you like to work together?” Beau asked, his eyes wide with anticipation.
“I’m afraid I’m not searching for any treasure, so there’s no way for us to work together,” Jared repliedimpassively. “However, you better not flaunt the item in your possession to others. Otherwise, you won’teven know what killed you.”
Beau was stunned. He had never expected that even after revealing the key to the treasure, Jaredwould refuse to work together. Jared led Vasily and the others away, leaving Beau standing still with afrown.
“What an odd fellow,” Beau muttered before he departed himself. Jared refused to work with Beaubecause he did not know Beau’s true nature. In Ethereal Realm, Jared would not easily trust astranger.

She even wanted to kill us!” Crixussaid aggrievedly.

“Who are you? Why did you attack my people? I don’t think they messed with you, did they?” Jaredasked with a grim look on his face.
The girl pointed her sword at Jared. “Quit playing innocent. I know you guys are after the ice soulfragment. I found them first, so don’t even think about taking them from me. You’re only at SecondLevel Body Fusion Realm. Even if all of you join forces, you are no match for me, so I advise that youleave right away.”
The girl emanated waves of murderous intent as if wanting to scare off Jared and the others with heraura. The Three Bandits took a few steps backward when they sensed the murderous intent, but Jaredremained unperturbed. To him, her threats were like the whispers of a gentle breeze.
