The man was lost for words as he stared at Jared in disbelief.
Right then, Jared released his hold on the man. “Take me to him.”
After a slight hesitation, the man led Jared to Vinicus, whose expression darkened when he saw thetwo.
“Gregory, what are you doing? Why haven't you kill him?”
Gregory Stark remained silent as a conflicted expression appeared on his face.
Jared looked at Vinicus and said, “How dare a Demonic Cultivator like you show your face here?Shouldn't you be hiding somewhere?”
Vinicus knew right off the bat that Gregory had betrayed him when Jared revealed his identity. With noneed to conceal who he was, he emitted a black mist that was synonymous with demonic techniques.
“Gregory, do you know the consequences of exposing my identity?” Vinicus thundered.
Gregory gritted his teeth and looked up abruptly. “I do, but even if I have to die, I won't stand by theside of evil anymore. The fact that I've helped you hide your demonic aura has allowed you to killcountless men! Worse comes to worst, I'll lose my life, but there's no way I'm going to make pills thathide your demonic aura anymore. If you want to kill me, go ahead! Take my life!”
“Fine. Since you have a death wish, I'll make it come true. Do you think a lowly cultivator at SecondLevel Body Fusion Realm can save you?” Vinicus moved his finger, and a black mist began to rise from
his body.
Gregory let out an agonized scream as he convulsed on the ground.
“Kill me, young man. Kill me. I can't bear this torment any longer,” Gregory begged Jared.
Jared furrowed his brows and grabbed Gregory's wrist.
After sending a burst of spiritual energy into Gregory's body, Jared detected a demonic aura runningwild within it that was causing Gregory unbearable pain.

Jared stabbed his finger at multiple points across Gregory's body, causing a maelstrom of black mist toform right above Gregory's head.
Then, Jared sucked in the black mist.
After only a short moment, the demonic aura inside Gregory disappeared and was sucked into Jared'sbody.
Gregory was dumbfounded.
“What have you done, young man? You'll suffer a fate worse than death by filling yourself with demonicaura.”
Gregory couldn't understand why Jared would do something like that.
“Don't worry. I'll be fine,” Jared reassured him before turning to Vinicus.
Vinicus was just as shocked as he stared at Jared. “Who in the world are you to absorb demonic aurainto your body?”
“Who am I is none of your business. You still have a chance to leave now. I'm on my way to attend theAlchemist Fair and I don't want you to cause any trouble. Also, I don't care if you're a demon, beast, orhuman. I won't bother you as long as you stay out of my way,” Jared replied with a wave of his hand.
The stunned Vinicus scrutinized Jared from head to toe. He couldn't believe how a cultivator at SecondLevel Body Fusion Realm dared to speak to him that way.
He was, after all, a cultivator at Sixth Level Body Fusion Realm. The gap in their powers was so bigthat he could kill Jared with a single slap.
Vinicus had no idea how Jared could be so confident.
Even Gregory was clueless as to what was happening. Jared might have demonstrated something outof his cultivation level, but defeating a cultivator at Sixth Level Body Fusion Realm was still animpossible feat for him.
