Jared continued evading her attacks and asked in confusion, “What are you doing? Are you beingungrateful?”
He was taken by surprise as he did not expect Viola to have woken up already, let alone attack himimmediately upon waking. Last but not least, he couldn't fathom why she was targeting him.

Viola studied Jared with a hint of nervousness, showing that she still had doubts about his words.
“You treated me? There's no way Mr. Samoll would allow a disciple to treat me. You're lying throughyour teeth. Who exactly are you?” she demanded.
After carefully observing Jared for a moment, Viola resumed her attack, aiming to restrain him beforeinterrogating him about his identity.
