After all that Ruth did for him, he considered if he should give her the other half of the MysteriousMaiden Method, but was worried that she would tell George and the Collins about it, which might leadhim, Iris and Louisa into danger.

“And I’m just supposed to believe that because you say so? Do you take me for a child?” She did notbelieve him and dug into all the items inside the pockets of his jacket.
She found a few jade flasks that contained a great number of alchemical pills.
“Leon, why do you carry so many alchemical pills?” She gasped.
“Are you really that surprised? I’m an alchemist and I made all the alchemical pills Cynthion Groupsold. Isn’t it normal for me to carry them around?” He said impatiently.
“That’s true! What’s this purple pill, though?” She grabbed a random flask and shook out a purple,crystal- like pill.
One look and she already knew that it was not an ordinary pill.
She saw the Energy Nurturing Pills and Beauty Pills sold by Cynthion Group, but she never saw anypurple- colored pills so she did not know their function.
“That’s I won’t tell you!” His heart sank, because the purple pill she held was the Dragon Pill.
He produced a little over thirty Dragon Pills with the Fairy Fruit and there were only twenty pills left.
The Dragon Pills were crucial to his survival and were his last resort when he was in danger, so hecould not possibly tell Ruth the truth.
“You won’t tell me? Fine, then. I’ll take one and see how it works!” Seeing how he refused to explain,she took one of the pills and was about to put it into her mouth.
“What?! Ruth, you can’t just take alchemical pills that casually. Aren’t you worried that it’s poisonous?Put it back and stop going through my stuff!” Shocked, he roared.
He did not have many Dragon Pills left and each pill counted, so he could not afford to waste it onRuth.
