Chapter 2634

Chapter 2634

"Well, that's right!'' Mister Orpwood frowned and saw reasons in Leon's words. After a moment of

contemplation, he asked, "Mister Wolf, what do you think about this?" "I have a way. The underground

community is a great place to hide and the Southern Boss knows his way around it. If I’m not mistaken,

that's probably where he's hiding here in the western region." He paused and added, "The Western

Boss is the ruler in the underground community here and if that's really where the Southern Boss is

hiding, I'm sure the Western Boss probably knows something about it," "That's right! I suspect the

Western Boss as well. He is probably involved!" Mister Orpwood came to a realization

He sent a few batches of Dragon Guards to search for the Southern Boss, but they all returned without

finding anything.

At first, Mister Orpwood thought that Alfred was perhaps mistaken and the Southern Boss did not flee

to the western region.novelbin

However, Leon already confirmed that the Southern Boss was located in the western region.

This left only one possibility: someone in the western region was aiding the Southern Boss and erasing

his traces.

Whoever was aiding the Southern Boss must have at least some level of power that rivaled some of

the most influential families. Otherwise, the Dragon Corps wouldn't have failed to find anything related

to the Southern Boss.

On the other hand, the Southern Boss used to be the ruler of the underground community in the

southern region and had no connection with the families in the western region.

All influential families valued their reputation and would never associate themselves with the likes of the

Southern Boss.

Therefore, it was extremely unlikely for these families to be connected to the Southern Boss.

The Western Boss, however, was involved in the underground community and likely had a connection

to the Southern Boss.

There were a lot of grey areas in the underground community and if the Southern Boss was really in

the western region, the Western Boss might be the one hiding him. Even if that was not the case, he

would likely know something.

"The Western Boss, huh? How dare he work alongside the Southern Boss? Damn him!" Mister

Orpwood was furious and his expression darkened.

"Mister Orpwood, if the Western Boss is involved in this, why don’t we just pressure him into handing

the Southern Boss over? That way, we could at least obtain some information about the Southern

Boss,' Fletcher advised.

"No, we can't go to the Western Boss! He would never give US any information about the Southern

Boss, nor would he hand him over." Mister Orpwood shook his head.

Though he already had a feeling that the Fermers were hiding the Southern Boss, it was merely his

speculation.

Without any evidence to support his claim, there was no way that the Western Boss would hand the

Southern Boss over.

In doing so, the Western Boss would be indirectly admitting to hiding and aiding the Southern Boss.

There was no way that the Western Boss would do something so foolish.
