"No! We can't afford to delay this any further and I don't time to wait for reinforcement!" Leon shook hishead and rejected Fletcher's suggestion without hesitation.
The effect of the Soul Searcher could only last for three hours at most and since they were currently ina remote area of the western region, it would be at least an hour's drive from the western regionDragon Corps to the Tiddertons Mansion and it would be too late by the time reinforcement arrived.
"But," Fletcher wanted to try and convince Leon to wait but was interrupted by Leon right away.
"That's the end of the discussion! Don't worry, Fletcher. Just leave this to us from the southern region! Ihave a plan!" Leon said with determination.
Without further delay, he turned to Scott and the others. "Scott, let's go. We are going to track thePoisonwielder down!"
"Oh, alright!"
Seeing how determined Leon was, Scott and the others agreed and went into the car with Leon; thoughthey were all still slightly concerned, they knew that Leon was not a reckless man.novelbin
"All we can do is pray that Mister Wolf succeeds in killing the Poisonwielder and that nothing goeswrong," Fletcher sighed with resignation as he watched Leon and the others disappeared into thedistance.
The others from the western region Dragon Corps were worried as well as they just witnessed theextent of the Poisonwielder’s power and they could not help but feel concerned that Leon and his teammight not be capable to handle the Poisonwielder.
"Fletcher, the Poisonwielder is sly and hides his track well. Mister Wolf might not be able to track himdown so easily! I think you should call Mister Orpwood right now and ask him to send a backup now!
Maybe Mister Wolf will come to need it!" Randall reminded.
"Yeah, you are right!" Fletcher snapped out of it and immediately made a call to Mister Orpwood toexplain the current situation.

Meanwhile, Leon left with his team and followed the track of the Soul Searcher to a mountain a fewmiles away by car.
At the bottom of the mountain stood an abandoned temple.
Though the temple looked torn on the outside, the interior was intact and spacious, making it a perfecthideout.
Leon and the others arrived at the mountain and to avoid alerting the Poisonwielder, Leon orderedOliver to park the car somewhere further, before proceeding to walk toward the temple.
"Mister Wolf, aren't you going after the Poisonwielder? Why are you taking us here?" Scott lowered hisvoice.
"Yeah."
"Is the Poisonwielder here?"

Oliver, Abraham, and the others were confused as well.
From their perspective, Leon should be contacting the police and track the Poisonwielder down bystudying footage from surveillance cameras in the area, before determining the Poisonwielder’s
location through evidence.
However, Leon did not make any effort in contacting the police, nor did he attempt to search for anyevidence and brought them all to the temple straightaway, which left them all wondering what washappening.
