“Secret recipe? What are you talking about?” Gordon and Seth were both surprised to hear this.
“Joel, are you saying that Hiltons Corporation has successfully managed to create replicas of EleganteGroup’s products?” Seth asked. He was well aware of Joel’s plans to steal Elegante Group’s secretrecipe, and judging by Joel’s comment, he was inclined to think that Joel successfully pulled it off!
Gordon was thinking along the same lines.
“Um, not really! That Leon Wolf had his wits about it, and I’m now missing only the most crucialingredient, “Joel replied rather sheepishly.
He bragged about his plan to Seth and Gordon multiple times, confident that he would be able to pull itoff successfully, so now, he could not help feeling a little embarrassed that he failed.
“Oh,” Seth and Gordon could not help but be disappointed by this. however, considering that this wasnot the first time Joel lost to Leon, they could not say that they were surprised.
“Well, none of this matters! This is a war, not a battle, and we’ll see who’s laughing at the end! Thepoint is, although I didn’t manage to get my hands on their full secret recipe, I’ve now come up with aperfect plan to take Leon down!” Joel changed the subject.
“What is it?” Seth and Gordon perked up at this, a glimmer of hope reigniting within their eyes.
They both had unpleasant encounters with Leon and thus longed for nothing more than to see Leondefeated!
This was especially true for Gordon; he already got Joel’s word that he would share some of the profitsof his success, and he could not help feeling hopeful that Joel would be able to help him turn the
situation around!
“Well, here goes. Since we can’t tackle Leon directly, we’ve decided the best course of action is to shiftour attention to his two women,” Joel then proceeded to explain his entire plan to them.
“Yes, this is a splendid idea!” Seth was delighted to hear this. After losing to Leon twice, he alreadybegan to fear Leon, and if Joel insisted on continuing to pick a fight against Leon, he would not berooting for Joel at all!
However, now that Joel shifted his target to Iris and Snow, he was certain that they would succeed!
This sounded like a flawless plan!
“You’re intending to capture Iris and Snow?” Gordon was still contemplating this. snow was his ex-girlfriend, and knowing that Joel wanted to capture her and take her hostage, he did not know how tofeel about this.
“Iris? That sounds familiar. Where have I heard this name before?” Seth and Joel both balked at this.since neither of them attended Cynthion Group’s sales drive, none of them knew of Iris‘ true identity.novelbin
It was only after Gordon mentioned her name that they could not help finding it familiar.
“Iris is one of the Twin Beauties of the Southern Region! Have none of you heard of her before?”Gordon was rather surprised by this.
The Thompsons helped host the sales drive, and considering how close Yuri and Darius were, heinvited Darius and him to the sales drive, where he saw Iris with his own two eyes.
Therefore, even though neither Seth nor Joel knew about her, he was familiar with her name!
