“Well, here’s what happened,” Joel then proceeded to explain everything to his father, including how hecame up with the plan to sabotage Elegante Group’s name and how he managed to steal most ofElegante Group’s secret recipe, save for the most crucial ingredient.
“I see what you did now!” Sebastian gasped in realization. Although Joel’s plan was foiled, he had toadmit that the plan was flawless!
Unfortunately, all of them severely underestimated Leon–not only did he manage to see right throughJoel’s scheme, but he even managed to heal Lacey within just minutes, which was what ultimately ledto Joel’s downfall in the first place!
Thankfully, Joel’s efforts were not in vain–at least he managed to steal most of Elegante Group’s secretrecipe, save for the final and most important ingredient!
This was the best thing that came out of this series of unfortunate events!
“Father, not only did Yuri attack me, but now he even forced me to apologize publicly to EleganteGroup. This is unacceptable! We can’t let him win this!” Joel snarled.
“I know that, son! Even I’m outraged at the way you’re being treated!” Sebastian echoed. After all, theHiltons were one of the most powerful families in the Southern region and were no lesser than theThompsons. Although he was forced to agree to Yuri’s terms, the truth was, Sebastian, did not feel thatthey deserved this and was holding a grudge against Yuri and the Thompsons!
“Also, Leon and Elegante Group have successfully become a threat to our reputation, so we have tofind a way to get rid of them and get our hands on the secret recipe to their purified water at once!” Joel
said, his face distorted in a grotesque grin. He was still unwilling to give up his plans of taking downElegante Group!novelbin
On the contrary, after his loss to Leon, he wanted to return with a vengeance and finish what hestarted!
“You’re right, my son! We have to find a way to get rid of them before they take over the entire market!However, since the Thompsons possess a part of Elegante Group’s shares and will be keeping aneven closer eye on us, we have to be even more cautious in the future!” Sebastian agreed.
Elegante Group was proving to be an even bigger threat than any of them anticipated. Sooner or later,Elegante Group would grow to become their biggest competitor in the cosmeceutical field, and likeJoel, he could not possibly sit by while Elegante Group flourished!
He was not too worried about the Thompsons taking revenge. After all, the Thompsons‘ power was onpar with the Hiltons, and thus he was not afraid of them at all! He was certain that as long as they weremore careful in the future, the Thompsons would never be able to pin the blame on them as they didnow!
As long as they left no evidence, there was nothing the Thompsons could do, not even if theydestroyed. Elegante Group altogether!
Since Elegante Group’s products were of such great quality, not only would taking them down helpthem rid of a competitor, but they would even be able to steal this technology for their own and bring insignificant profits that way!
Because of this, both Sebastian and Joel had their sights set on Elegante Group, and were determinedto stop at nothing to bring them down!
