“Funeral proceedings? No, that’s impossible. Nothing will happen to my Roanne,” Vivian felt as thoughshe was struck by lightning. She crumpled onto the ground in a heap and burst into tears of despair.
As much as she denied it, she knew that Yonas was just spouting facts!
Now that Roanne was captured for so many hours now, knowing Asmodeus‘ malicious side, there wasno doubt that she would have been killed by now!

“Also, Asmodeus holds vengeance against us, since he holds us responsible for Beelzebub’s death!I’m certain that he will attempt to sneak back in here again and take revenge on us in the future, so wehave to keep our guards up for that!” Yonas added.
The truth was, he secretly longed for Asmodeus to sneak in and kill Yuri so that he would no longerhave any competition for the throne, but on second thought, he knew that he and Yuri were bothdescendants of the throne and thus would be equal targets of Asmodeus‘ vengeance.
There was no telling who Asmodeus would choose to kill if he were to, but he wanted to err on the sideof caution and warn everyone.
“Yes, Yonas is right! Our priority should be tightening our defenses so that Asmodeus won’t have achance to strike again! From this moment onwards, we shall keep our guards up, and if Asmodeusdares to come again, we will kill him right on the spot and avenge Roanne’s death!” Arthur declared.

“Alright, that’s all for today. Angus, unfortunately, things happen. You and Vivian should get some restfirst, and start preparing the funeral proceedings in a couple of days!” Arthur strode over and gentlypatted Angus ‘shoulder. He wanted to reassure them but did not know what to say.
“How–how can this be? Someone please save my daughter!” Vivian started sobbing even harder atthis. Her entire heart seemed to have frozen over with despair and anguish.
Angus and Yuri were no better; their eyes were red–rimmed from crying, and their hearts sank withresignation.

All of a sudden, a melodic voice rang out from behind them as Roanne trotted into the room, grinningfrom ear to ear as she dragged Leon in by the hand.
Arthur, Yonas, and the rest froze in sheer shock at the sight of this.
Even Vivian was stunned by this. She stopped crying out of sheer disbelief.
The entire room fell into pin–drop silence as everyone revealed this sudden twist of events.
