With a deafening thud, Leon’s Potential Energy Force tore Asmodeus‘ attack right apart and landedsquarely in the middle of his chest. Not only that, but the energy surged right through him, coming outthe other side and leaving a bowl–sized hole in his flesh!
“How can this be?” Asmodeus lowered his head to gape at the hole in his chest, his eyes wide withshock and horror. Then, with a thump, his body tipped forward and landed on the ground, thussignifying the end of his horrendous life.
“This is amazing! Master Haslewood’s tricks do work after all!” Leon was overjoyed to see this. Hefinally realized just how powerful his master was–not even an Almighty Weapon could stand a chanceagainst Master Haslewood’s attacks!
Roanne was even more stunned by this. She popped her head out from behind Leon and rubbed hereyes when she saw Asmodeus‘ body on the floor, unable to believe her own two eyes.
“Leon, you killed Asmodeus! This is incredible!” Roanne was so delighted by this that her face flushedred from the excitement. Then, she clutched Leon’s arm and danced around in sheer ecstasy.
She witnessed the true extent of Asmodeus‘ power before–this was a criminal so ruthless that not evenher father, Angus, or any of the Thompson’s master martial artists could defeat him. When hekidnapped her, they were at such a loss that none of them could do anything but watch him leave withher!

“Miss Thompson, let me help you out of there,” Leon glanced at Roanne’s torn shirt sleeve, then tookoff his jacket and draped it over her. Then, with a few prods, he released Roanne from her bonds andrestored her powers.
“Thank you, Leon. Thank you for saving me just in time, otherwise, there’s no telling how I would’veended up,” A surge of warmth spread through Roanne’s heart when she sensed Leon’s scent andwarmth wafting off his jacket. She knew that if Leon did not show up just in time, she would not onlyhave been dishonored by Asmodeus but even possibly tortured to death, after which Asmodeus wouldplace her corpse in the busiest part of town to get revenge on the Thompsons!
This was a scene that still sent chills down her spine at the thought of this.
“Don’t worry. Everything is over now!” Leon reassured her, smiling when he sensed her terror.
“Yes, everything is over now,” Roanne grinned. She cast Leon a tender look as a peculiar sensationspread into her heart.
Leon first healed her with his medical expertise, then saved her from the claws of a devil just as shelost all hope in living!
This was like a fairy tale, where the prince would always save the beautiful princess in times of crisis.
