“Damn it!” Damian’s expression darkened.
He was frustrated with Leon’s arrogance and thought that it was foolish of Leon to provoke Eugene.However, Leon was Iris’s boyfriend and saved his life before, so there was no way that Damian wouldstand idly by while Eugene attacked Leon.
He charged toward Eugene and the two were instantly absorbed in battle.
“Damian, just remember that you asked for this! I might not be able to beat you in the past, but you’vejust recovered. Do you think that you have what it takes to defeat me?!” Eugene sneered and startedattacking Damian’s lower body.
“Why you! How despicable!” Damian paled.
He was on the same power level as Eugene in the Peak Overlord State. However, since he sufferedfrom paralysis, he was not able to train in the past few months. On top of that, he just started to recoverand was still struggling with the mobility of his legs, so he was incapable of wielding the full extent ofhis power.
Eugene saw right through his weakness and started aiming his attack at Damian’s leg. Before long,Damian was losing.
“Leon, I’ll stall him! Take Penny, Iris, and the others and run!” Damian urged.
He knew that he could not defeat Eugene in his current state and could only try to buy Leon the time toescape because he knew that Leon would not get a chance to survive once Eugene defeated him.
“Run? Why should I run? I said that Nigel will break his arm, or I break his legs! I intend to keep myword!”
Leon said with determination.
