Inside the mansion, Ruth and Cynthia were locked inside a bedroom on the first floor.
Nigel placed two of his guards at the door, before opening the door and stepping inside alone.
“Here I come, beauties!” He chuckled and strode toward Cynthia and Ruth.
Both of them had their power sealed and were as helpless as ordinary people before Nigel. However,they both came from powerful families in Springfield City and were experienced enough to not let theirfear show.
“What are you trying to do, Scammell?” Cynthia questioned sharply.
“What do you think? I’ve never seen another woman more beautiful than the two of you in the Southernregion. I’m going to have my way with you!” Nigel smirked evilly.
“Y–You wouldn’t dare! If you dare to hurt Ruth and me, Leon won’t spare you!” Cynthia paled but swiftlyregained her composure at the thought of Leon.
“Haha! When he’s only in the Initial Innate State? What a joke!” Nigel burst out laughing in amusement.
“Ha! Who told you that Leon is in the Initial Innate State? Leon’s far more powerful than that. He caneven kill someone in the Emperor State with ease! If you know what’s best for yourself, you’ll releaseus now, Leon will kill you!” Ruth sneered and threatened Nigel.
“He can kill someone in the Emperor State? Oh, my. I’m so scared!” He laughed and mocked, “I don’tscare easily, little girl. Do you think that I’m going to believe that?”
“Believe whatever you want! Once Leon comes to get us, you’ll find out!” Ruth sneered as she placedher hope on Leon
Nigel captured Cynthia and Ruth in public and Ruth knew that Leon would have been informed, so hewas likely on his way to them.
As long as Leon got to them in time, he would be more than capable of defeating Nigel.
“Dream on! This is my private mansion. Leon won’t be able to find it that easily! Besides, I have nothingto fear from him even if he gets here!” Nigel scoffed.
He captured the two mainly because he wanted to teach Leon a lesson, so his only concern was thatLeon might not come to save them at all.
