A few merchants made their move, and the price immediately rose to 21 million.

With the price at twenty–three million, it was just too expensive. It was already a lot more than theycould afford.

Even though the Libertons were worth billions, most of their assets were not liquid. Even if he was theheir of the family, he would usually only have around thirty or forty million.
The price was already way too high. He was already at his limits!
