Chapter 1318

Chapter 1318

Leon handed his rock to the staff for cutting and walked back to stand next to Iris.

“Leon, what do we do? I told you to pick a few high–end rocks just now, but you just won’t listen! Youare going to humiliate yourself if they open it and nothing is inside!” Iris said worriedly.

As Leon’s girlfriend, she naturally did not wish for Leon to make a fool of himself, but the situationescalated so far that there was nothing she could do about it.

“Don’t worry, Iris. I’m sure that this rock contains top–quality jadeite!” Leon said confidently.

“How stubborn! Let’s see if you can keep smiling when you fail!” Andy scoffed.

He was humiliated for being overly confident about his instinct, but since he managed to find a piece offlower–green jadeite, he managed to salvage his pride.

If Leon’s rock turned out to be an ordinary rock, he would be the laughingstock of the shop and Andywould be considered far superior in comparison.

This was precisely the reason why Andy insisted that Leon opened his rock right away. However, whathappened next disrupted his plan entirely.

“Snap!”

The staff cut into the rock and revealed a small corner of the crustal–clear inside.

“It’s out!”

“There’s jadeite inside that rock!”

Everyone in the shop, including Andy, Iris, and Penny, was all stunned.

They all thought that Leon selected an ordinary rock and was all surprised to find that it containedjadeite; on top of that, the jadeite appeared extremely transparent and anyone would be able to tell thatit was of high quality.

“It’s so clear that it looks like ice!”

“I, I think that’s cream–clear!”

“No. That’s not it. I think it’s the best quality among cream–clear and it’s quite close to clear jadeite!”

The seasoned rock gamblers studied the rock and soon concluded that the piece of jadeite wasextremely close to being categorized as top–quality jadeite.

The crowd was shaken to the core at their comments.

“That kid found a rock containing top–quality jadeite!”

“How’s that even possible?!”

The other customers gaped at Leon.

They all thought that Leon was bragging, and it was only at this moment that they realized Leon wastelling the truth and the low–end rock indeed contained top–quality jadeite.

If they did not witness the process with their own eyes, none of them would have believed it to be true.

Andy’s expression darkened.

He spent 345 thousand over three high–end rocks and did not find any top–quality jadeite so far, yetLeon managed to achieve that with a low–end rock that cost only a few hundred.

At that very moment, he was overwhelmed by shock and frustration.novelbin
