All of the major families were looking at Leon with disbelief. They felt like they were looking at an idiot.
They knew very well that Orvald was in a noble position. Since Orvald had given his word, Leon wouldbe able to survive with his life as long as he obediently gave his method and treasures over, even if hispower might be crippled.
Yet, Leon did not take the chance to do that and keep his life. He even said he would destroy theLapwoods!

“Leon, are you suicidal?”
Cynthia and Iris both looked at Leon with a dumbfounded expression. The hope they had earlier wascompletely extinguished!
Of course, it was not just the two of them. Even Elder Young, Benedict, and the others were quiteinfuriated by Leon’s arrogant words!
They could understand Leon not wanting to give up his treasure and his method, but Leon had noreason to anger Orvald with those words!
Then, Leon would not just end up with his strength being crippled, but Orvald could very well kill Leonin his anger!
Leon stood to gain nothing!

Orvald was furious. He did not waste any time as he struck out with an imperious force, attacking Leonhead- on.

Leon clenched his teeth and used his final trump card. He took out one part of the Potential Energyfrom his pendant.
The energy had been given to him by Master Haslewood as thanks. He had gotten three in total.
In the few days he was at Dragon Corp, he could tell that Master Haslewood was an incredibly strongperson, but he could not tell how strong!
Furthermore, this was only a shred of energy that was left behind. It was not like Master Haslewoodwas there himself. Orvald was a master at the Emperor State, and he was not going to be easy to dealwith!
He was not confident that the energy would be able to hold Orvald back.
If the energy from Master Haslewood failed, then he would only be facing death!

Looking at Orvald attacking in his rage, both Iris and Cynthia paled, and their hearts sank.
