“Baam!”
Their heads instantly collided and Leon saw stars at the impact.
Before he could react, a warm sensation came from his cheek as Ruth pressed her lips against hischeek.
“What the-”
Both Leon and Ruth froze in shock.
“Damn it! Leon, you bastard! That was my first kiss!” Ruth sobered. Furious, she bit down onto hisshoulder.
Leon gasped in pain and pinched at the Vital Gate on Ruth’s wrist, causing her to fall back onto hischest helplessly.
They glared at one another in silence and time seemed to have frozen over.
“Ahem!” Just then, they heard a sound.
Gilbert, Iris and Louisa somehow walked inside.
In their perspective, all they saw was Lean lying in bed half–naked while Ruth leaned against his chest.
Iris’s expression instantly darkened and a dark look appeared on Gilbert’s face as well, so Louisaimmediately cleared her through to alert Leon.
Leon looked up at the sound of Louisa clearing her throat and met Iris’s cold eyes. “Louisa, Iris!”
Feeling like he was struck like lightning, his mind went blank.
Ruth did not expect for the three to appear out of the blue as well and leaped away from Leon like adeer in headlight.
“Leon, what are you doing with Ruth? Would you care to explain?” Iris gritted out furiously.
Leon was her boyfriend, yet he had his hands on another woman as he laid in bed. Iris was extremelyupset to walk into such a sight.
“Iris, if I say that this is just a misunderstanding, will you believe me?” He smiled bitterly.
“What do you think?” Iris questioned sharply.
“Well,” Leon was rendered speechless, knowing that it would be extremely difficult to explain himself inthis situation.
Ruth glanced at Iris and Leon, feeling devastated when she recalled how she kissed Leon. “Iris, Leon’sbullying me. You have to help me,” Her eyes reddened and she threw herself into Iris’s arms sobbing.
“Ruth Collins, how dare you!” Leon was stunned. He was the victim all along, yet Ruth shamelesslypointed the blame at him and cried as though he forced himself onto her.
If Ruth denied anything that happened, he might have been able to explain himself, but since sheadmitted to it, Iris was surely going to think that he tried to make a move on Ruth.
“How dare you, Leon?!“
