After Neera left, Ian looked at Jean awkwardly. He never expected someone would scold him! Moreover, it waseven Neera, whom he had only recently met!
On the other hand, Jean remained calm, as if nothing had happened. Suddenly, his stomach spasmed again,causing him to frown in pain. Ian quickly poured a cup of water and passed it to him with the medicine.
"Mr. Beauvort, quickly take this medicine Ms. Garcia gave; it should work!"
Jean nodded and accepted.
After five minutes, Jean’s condition improved a lot compared to before. He seemed to be relieved.
"Ms. Garcia was truly amazing. You have become better in such a short time!"
Jean acknowledged Neera but did not say much. He fell asleep after a while.

Neera shook her head and replied, "I just came to ask how Mr. Beauvort is."
Ian immediately smiled and said, "He’s fine now. Thanks to the medicine you gave him, he recovered so quickly!You’re truly a great doctor!"
Neera found it somewhat amusing to hear him praise her so much. His words were quite slick!
Neera nodded and said, "As long as he's fine, I'm leaving."
At that moment, a car parked in front of Jean's house, and Joanna stepped out of it. She brought her medical teamto conduct a routine checkup for Jean. The checkup was done once a month.

Joanna stared at Neera and said, "You even followed Jean all the way to his home. What motives do you have?"
