Chapter 51

Joanne was the happiest! She secretly tagged Jean so that she could eavesdrop on him. She was worried thatNancy would threaten her position and that Jean would not need her anymore. But she did not expect the turn ofevents. This Nancy is so arrogant, she didn't even show herself to Mr. Beauvort! She first regretted and rejectedtreating Mr. Beauvort, and now this! Nancy should be blacklisted by him, and I'll have a greater chance of stayingby his side! After all, beside my team, who can be able to treat Mr. Beauvort? What's more, I know his conditionswell; he should trust me more than anyone else! The more she thought about it, the more she was satisfied.

...

On the other side, Roxanne felt terrible, and she was complaining to Zachary. But he was not the same as he wasin the hospital; he was impatient now. "What can we do? She's unwilling to show herself, and Isabella promisednot to expose her identity. Even if you complain for three more days, we'll get the same result too."

Roxanne felt hurt by his reaction. "Zach, why are you not siding with me? I was merely whining; you do knowthat my health is critical now, right?"

Seeing that she was about to cry again, he frowned and realized that he should not be too firm with her. He sighedand said, "I'm not saying that you're wrong; I'm also worried about your condition. Give me some time to findsolutions for you."

Roxanne stopped sobbing after hearing his words, but she still felt uneasy. She could feel that he was actingcolder to her these days; when he was happy, he would coax her; when he was impatient, he would not even careabout her. And all of these have happened ever since he saw Neera again! She was getting furious thinking of it.

After getting home, Alfonso and Susan grabbed her and asked hurriedly, "How was it? Did you see Ms. Nancy?"

She answered sadly, "I didn't even see her at all; she hid herself from the start!"

Susan frowned upon hearing her words, and she said, "Why is she being so strange? She dislikes the Graciafamily, and she is always hiding herself; she must be a fraud!" She then convinced her by saying, "Roze, youdon’t have to be in a rush! Let’s look for another doctor; there will be ways!"

But Roxanne did not want to give up; she said, "What do you know? Ms. Nancy successfully conducted theoperation today; it only had a thirty percent success rate, and she did it! I can only be saved by her!" She turnedand begged Alfonso, "Dady, can you please find someone to look for Ms. Nancy? I want her to treat me!"

Alfonso had the same thought as her; he nodded and said, "Don’t you worry, I’ll find her for you and make surethat you’re safe."

Susan suddenly thought of something else, and she asked, "Wait, did you know where Neera lives now?" His facechanged upon hearing her question. "No, I’ve checked every hotel, condominium, and even villa, but she’snowhere to be found." novelbin

Roxanne sneered, "Ha! She should be living in cheap and remote places! She’s so poor!"

"That’s right!" Susan had the same thought, and she said, "As long as she’s in Kingsview, we can find her. If not,we can just bait her with the stocks, and we should sedate her and send her to the Beauvort family! Then it will betoo late for her to escape!"

Roxanne smiled slyly and asked, "Has the Beauvort family chosen a date yet?"

Alfonso nodded and answered, "It’s all set; it will be at the end of this month. We should just do what yourmother has said if we still can’t find her!"
