"Mrs. Cather, Mr. Semeraro, I apologize for my tardiness." Ranita headed directly for her intendedacquaintances.
Mrs. Cather appeared to be acquainted with Arthur and engaged in conversation with him.
"Miss Bowman, I'm delighted you could join us!" Arthur rose courteously to shake Ranita's hand. Histouch was fleeting, demonstrating refinement in his manners.
In comparison to Mrs. Cather, Ranita found people like Arthur, with their outgoing personalities,more appealing.
"I'm equally pleased to see you again, Mr. Semeraro!" Ranita greeted him warmly as theyexchanged the usual business pleasantries.
Shortly after she took her seat in the banquet hall, Brendon arrived with Shannon, creating a bit of astir among the guests. Brendon was decked out in an attention-grabbing suit that accentuated histall, chiseled features. His striking appearance instantly drew the gaze of everyone present,particularly the female attendees at the party.

When it came time to cut the cake, Ranita used the excuse of needing the restroom, as shefrequently had to use it due to drinking water. As she traversed the corridor toward the restroomdoor, she finally managed to escape the cacophony of the celebration, and her mind feltmomentarily serene.
While washing her hands in one of the sinks, someone suddenly crowded in beside her andgrasped her hand!
"What are you doing?" Ranita tried to shake him off but realized that it was Turner.novelbin
"Ranita! How could you shake off my hand? Mrs. Stuart told me about introducing you to me. I'mquite pleased with you, even though you're already married. So, come be mine!"
As he spoke, Turner leaned forward unabashedly, attempting to touch Ranita's face.
