Chapter 245 His Memory Is Good

Chapter 245 His Memory is Good

Ranita leaned against the wall, feeling both bitter and powerless.

Everything Brendon gave her was like floating bubbles, beautiful and dazzling under the sunshine, but fragile enough to shatter with a touch.

The atmosphere at the dining table was quiet.

Ranita ate a slice of bread and didn't want to eat anymore.

"Have some more to eat! The doctor said you're too skinny," Brendon handed her the milk, andRanita nodded as she forced herself to drink it.

"I'm taking a day off today, would you like to go out for a walk with me? Is there any place you wantto go?" Brendon said and then frowned, "If your foot still hurts, don't go too far."

Ranita didn't want to go anywhere.

"I want to sleep at home." After becoming pregnant, she had become very sleepy. It was not too badbefore, but it had become extremely obvious in the last few days.novelbin

Ranita said as she yawned.

Brendon clearly disagreed, "It's not good for your body to keep lying down and sleeping."

"I remember you used to like going to the library, do you want me to accompany you?"

Ranita used to go to the library for research purposes, but now she was an expert and went thereless often.

Brendon didn't wear a suit today, he changed into casual clothes.

A person who looks good will still look good even if they wear tattered clothes. This statement wasabsolutely true when it came to Brendon. With a simple outfit of black pants and a white shirt, hemanaged to exude the aura of a model.

Ranita rarely saw him dressed like this and took a few more glances.

"It looks very young!" and handsome too! Ranita sincerely complimented, but Brendon slightlyfrowned as he listened.

Did he look old now?

"Do I look old?" Brendon asked in a straight male tone.

Ranita helped him put on a leather wristwatch that didn't look too formal. "It looks great! Not old atall."

Brendon, who received praise, raised his eyebrows and made a sound of agreement.

"You sit down first!" Brendon pulled Ranita to sit down and grabbed her ankle to examine it carefully."It seems much better now!"

The wound on the ankle was caused by rubbing against an iron chain, and it looked red, but theskin damage was not serious.

"It didn't really hurt to begin with," Ranita said casually.

Brendon hung his head, feeling uneasy. Couldn't this woman show a little vulnerability in front ofhim? She was always like this, hiding herself away like a big turtle.

Excited to go out, but unfortunately the library was closed.

Brendon's face turned dark, "Why isn't the library open on Tuesdays?"

"Not every week, they sent an early notice that today they needed to relocate and organize somebooks, so that's why the library is closed... How about we go to the museum? I've been in Kurimafor many years, but haven't been to the Palace Museum yet!" Ranita paused and smiled.

"How is that possible? Didn't you volunteer at the museum before?"

Ranita explained, feeling embarrassed. "Volunteers can only guide visitors in designated areas andcannot visit themselves."

Pausing for a moment, Ranita asked in surprise, "I don't think I told you about it. How did youknow?"

It was something she did during her college years, many years ago.

Brendon replied vaguely, "You mentioned it to me before. Did you forget?"

"Did I?" Ranita couldn't remember.

"It was a long time ago. We were driving by and you mentioned it casually," Brendon paused andlifted his chin. "I have a good memory."

Ranita didn't ask any further questions.

Brendon breathed a sigh of relief.

How did he know? Of course not from what Ranita said but from reading her diary. She onlymentioned it briefly in her diary but he somehow remembered it clearly.
