Ranita found herself on the bed with Brendon towering over her. "Are you angry again?" He asked.

"No!" Ranita was both angry and annoyed but not at Brendon - she was mad at herself for being soweak-willed.

Her anger dissipated easily when Brendon kissed away all of it. Her ears and neck turned red fromembarrassment as she tried to avoid looking at him but failed miserably since he wouldn't let go oftheir embrace.

His fingers were clearly visible as they rested on the underside of chin before pulling it back uptowards him. "You've been getting angry a lot lately," He observed.

"I haven't!" Even if she did get mad sometimes, it was because of this man!

"I'm not unreasonable either." Brendon raised an eyebrow while chuckling softly. "Am I?"

"What do you think? Can you let go?!" Since she couldn't leave, she decided to go with the flow.Ranita was helpless.

Brendon's arm crossed her back, pulling her tightly into his embrace. Leaning down, he whisperedby her lips, "You also said I'm unreasonable."

"Ranita, I've missed you a little!" Brendon continued to kiss her tenderly.

Ranita's heart began to burn, and she melted into his arms, feeling dizzy. Brendon was muchgentler than before, as if holding a precious treasure in his hands.

Ranita's heart sank into a beautiful dream.

"Ring ring..." Suddenly, Ranita's phone rang.

Blushing, Ranita pushed herself away. "I'll take this call."

Brendon reached out to help her grab the phone. In a quick glance, he saw the caller ID and aflicker of displeasure crossed his eyes. "Is it your brother again?"novelbin

Hearing this, Ranita quickly got up in a panic. "You should get up first!" Seeing how worried shelooked, Brendon became even more displeased asking sarcastically, "Are you always going benervous around your brother?"

Rolling eyes, Ranita shot Brendon an irritated look.

If Jedidiah knew that she not only got married but also planned to get divorced, he would probablybe furious enough to want to beat Brendon to death!

"Give me the phone!" Ranita grabbed her phone, got out of bed and gathered her clothes, rushinginto the room to answer the call.

As soon as she answered, Ranita shouted, "Brother!"

"Why did it take so long for you to answer? Have you arrived in Qaesburg?"

Ranita replied with a sound of agreement. "Yes, I just got here and was about to go to sleep! Isthere something wrong that you called so late?" She hesitated before asking.

Jedidiah's voice was gentle. "Sorry for disturbing you so late! I just received notice that I have to goto Qaesburg tomorrow. If you have time, let's meet up."

"What? You're coming to Qaesburg?" Ranita felt a little uneasy.

"Yes, I'm going there for a project."

"Why are you personally handling this project?" Ranita asked another question. Jedidiah didn't findit annoying but immediately explained, "I've been studying abroad before and haven't had muchcontact with company affairs. I want more practice."

Ranita smiled mischievously, "Then brother, good luck."

"If we both have time tomorrow night, we can go out for dinner together," Jedidiah suggested.

After making plans, Ranita hung up the phone and turned around only to see Brendon leaningagainst the door frame watching her with an icy expression on his face.

"You're going out for dinner tomorrow night?" Brendon raised his eyebrows suspiciously as heapproached her. He pressed his palm against her lower back while looking at her coldly and askedaccusingly, "A date?"

Was it an old lover meeting again?! It could be imagined what kind of sparks would fly betweenthem! Just thinking about it made Brendon feel like he had been soaked in lemon juice; sourenough that he wanted nothing more than tie up Ranita!
