This sudden accusation left Rantia stunned.
"Holly, don't make baseless accusations!"
"Don't try denying anything anymore, Ranita!! Who else could be responsible if not you?! You'vebeen holding grudges all along and caused trouble yourself yet framed Shannon!"
Holly pushed against the door again forcefully.
Ranita was hit by the corner of the door and instinctively took a few steps back, while Holly bargedin.
"Ranita, watch me teach you a lesson!" Holly didn't listen to reason and slapped Ranita directlyacross the face.
Ranita dodged and grabbed her hand, her face turning dark.
"Holly, I haven't done anything to Shannon. If you have evidence, please bring it forward. If not,apologize to me immediately!"
Holly's wrist was held tightly as she struggled and glared at Ranita in anger. "Apologize? You mustbe dreaming! Ha... you talk about evidence? What about you? Do you and Dylan the adulterer haveany evidence that proves Shannon harmed you? Shouldn't both of you apologize to Shannon?"
"Ranita, stop trying to reason with me here. Just wait until I find evidence; I'll definitely send you tojail!"
Ranita's blood boiled inside her.
"Holly, Shannon's situation has nothing to do with me..." Before she could finish speaking, a delicatefigure came fluttering over.
Who else could it be but Shannon?!
She grabbed Holly's arm and pleaded pitifully, "Holly please don't make trouble! I believe Ranitawouldn't hurt me..." Pausing for a moment she turned softly towards Ranita, "Ranita, is that true?"novelbin

"Ranita, please don't get angry! Holly is just anxious. I'll take her away now so as not cause troublefor you."
Shannon bit her lip saying that she would leave but didn't move an inch from where she stood.
"Shannon... don't pull me away; this matter is probably something that she arranged or else howcould it be so coincidental?"
"You are such a good person who doesn't hold grudges against anyone except for one person - onlyagainst Ranita! It must be her!" Holly insisted on biting onto Rantia's words like they were bonesstuck in between teeths..
Ranita looked at the two people singing duets with a cold gaze and said, "I've already told you,Shannon's business has nothing to do with me. Please leave my house immediately, or I will call thepolice."
"Calling the police sounds great! It's perfect timing for them catch hold of you…" But before Hollycould finish speaking, she seemed stuck on something, and then her angry eyes suddenly beganflickering. She hesitantly called out, "Brother."
Brendon had a cold expression. He had heard Holly's disrespectful remarks towards Ranita earlier,and her arrogant attitude was evident.
"Holly, Ranita is still your sister-in-law! 'An elder sister-in-law is like a mother,' do you think this is anappropriate way to treat your elders?"
Holly gritted her teeth, her eyes full of grievances staring at Rantia,"How can she still be my sister-in-law when both of you are divorced already?"
"Holly..." Brendon's scolding words were not yet finished, but Shannon had already stepped in frontof Holly. Her delicate face was a bit pale as she looked up at Brendon, her eyes shimmering withtears. She said, "Brendon, don't blame Holly. She was just too worried! I really scared her when Igot hurt this time!"
"Brendon, if you want to blame someone, blame me. It's all my fault..."
As soon as Shannon started crying softly, Brendon's expression softened a bit.
"It has nothing to do with you; don't take the responsibility on yourself."
"But... please don't be angry with Holly." Shannon stared at him innocently and even pulled on hissleeve playfully.
Ranita felt a chill run down her spine.
