Chapter 133 Do You Really Want Me To Go Like This?

Chapter 133 Do You Really Want Me To Go Like This?

"Is there anything else?"

As the words fell, Brendon's gaze fell on a stack of documents on the table, and he asked,"Greece? Are you planning to go to Greece?"

Brendon felt his breath grow heavy.

"When are you planning to go?"

Ranita stuffed the documents into a drawer and spoke softly, "Just to take a look, I haven't decidedyet." After a pause, Ranita stood up and walked past Brendon, saying, "I'm going to take a showerand rest."

The sound of water splashing filled the air as thoughts swirled around inside Ranita's head.

At Boulderland Mansion…

Shannon lay half-reclined on bed with red smoke circles under eyes; pitifully looking at Amiya shesaid, "Auntie! Brendon sent someone over here with luggage – he's staying at Rantia's place!"

As soon as Shannon finished speaking, tears began streaming down her face; paired alongsidethose big watery eyes made anyone who saw them feel sorry for Shannon.

"Auntie…does Brendon like Rantia? After all they've been together for three years…I'm scared thatBrendon will change if that's true…"

Shannon knew that Amiya cared for her the most, and because of the Murphy family, Amiya woulddo everything in her power to get Shannon into Boulderland Mansion.

Amiya patted Shannon's hand to comfort her. "Shannon, don't cry! Your eyes will swell up and youwon't look pretty!" Amiya didn't approve of Brendon's actions, but even if someone was at fault, itcouldn't be Brendon's fault.

"Ranita played a good trick by using a car accident as an excuse to lure Brendon over." Pausing fora moment, Amiya added, "But don't worry Shannon. Brendon is still on your side. Otherwise hewouldn't have spent the whole day with you."

"What's the use of spending all day with me? He still went over to Ranita!" Shannon sobbed softlyand choked up so much that she could hardly speak. She looked miserable and pitiful.

Amiya already had a bad temper before this incident happened. Now she was furious and her faceturned dark.

"Give me that phone!" Amiya reached out towards the servant. "I'll call Brendon back here."

"No!" Shannon grabbed hold of her hand. "What if Brendon blames me? Ranita is right; she hasn'tofficially divorced him yet; they are supposed to be together! I shouldn't have forced myself betweenthem like this..."

"Nonsense!" Amiya interrupted her angrily but then calmed down slightly as she spoke softly, "Yougrew up with Brendon since childhood; if it wasn't for his grandfather meddling in things he shouldn'thave been involved in, maybe you two would've gotten married long ago - your children might evenbe running around by now!"

"Ranita is just an another woman who interfered in your relationship with Brendon," said Amiyacoldly while anger accumulated in her eyes making it clear how upset she was about this situation.

"Shannon, rest well! I will make sure justice is served," promised Amiya before leaving.

Shannon achieved what she wanted – feeling slightly better after hearing those words from Amiya.

"Well... I'll rest well..." replied Shannon obediently but sadly as though feeling defeated before lyingdown weakly without any strength left inside of herself.

Amiya instructed the servants to take good care of Shannon before going outside whereupon callingBrendon on her phone immediately afterwards.

After taking a shower, Ranita met Brendon who had just finished his call on the balcony.

"Ranita… I…"

"Are you leaving?" asked Ranita anticipating his response, "Do you need my help packing?"

The woman approached him, and there was a faint scent emanating from her body.

Brendon embraced her from behind, his hand slipping under the cover to gently massage herstomach, his voice taking on a hint of determination, "Do you really want me to go like this?"novelbin
