With everything in the company sorted out and nothing to do, Amanda went to the company late.
“Miss Anderson, should I bring you snacks?” the old driver who had been assigned by her familyasked
“Snacks?” Amanda asked.
“That’s right. Most of the work in the company has been completed and I am sure you might end upbeing bored and a little hungry,” he said, making Amanda feel warm.
“Uncle, thank you but you should go
and rest. If I want some snacks, I will inform James. You are too old thus you should be runningaround,” Amanda said with a smile on her face.
“Oh no. We old men tend to remember our age when we are resting. We always work just tooccupy minds,” he said as she shook his head making Amanda laugh out loud.
As they passed by the company’s gate, Amanda saw a figure hiding behind the flowers but sheopted not
to think much about it.
“Miss we have arrived,” the chauffeur notified Amanda who nodded her head before unlocking thedc
“You can get me snacks if you want but I don’t think it is necessary since as you can see thecompan is full. Now that the Andersons have declared war on the Scotts and the company’s stocksare rising, many companies will try seeking a collaboration with us,” she explained when she sawhow the company’s park was packed.
“Okay but I will still give some to you,” Mr Bernand, the chauffeur said.
“Okay.” Amanda replied as she got out of the car as she felt it was useless if she continued trying toconvince him not to do so.
As she walked towards the entrance, Amanda felt eyes on her making her frown as she tumedaround to
look who it was.
Just as she did, she was blinded by a flash from her left side making her turn and look in thatdirection with cold eyes.
She raised her hands and summoned the guards who ran towards her.

“Boss,” the guard called out without looking at her.

“I think there is some cameraman at the gate. Please go and check,” she said before leaving.
“Yes boss, the guard replied before running towards the gate.
At this moment, the one who had taken a picture of her had already run away upon meetingAmanda‘

The guard cursed upon seeing the man on a motorbike and escaping.
“Good morning miss.” the receptionists greeted Amanda although there were a lot of people fromother
companies.
Amanda looked at them and nodded her head before leaving.
Although they had wanted to call her boss, they remembered the warning they had been given.That i
outsider should discover that she was the boss.
The people who had come to seek collaboration weren’t st*pid, upon hearing how Amanda wasaddress the respect and fear in the receptionist’s tone, they knew that she had to be one of thehigh–ups if not the boss behind the scenes.
As Amanda walked past her secretaries and greeted them, James stood up and followed herbehind to her
office.
“Good morning miss,” James said after closing the office door.
Amanda removed her coat and hung it on the office coat hanger. She then took out her phone fromh handbag before placing the handbag on the floor standing handbags.
She walked to her office hair and sat down before lifting her head and looking at James.
“Morning James,” she said in a low tone as she was still tired and sleepy.
Seeing her like this, James chuckled as he wondered who told her to go and have fun yesterdaywith her siblings but didn’t dare speak about it as he knew that it would be like shooting himself.

“Miss, most companies have come here to see collaboration. Also, Mr Flores called since it is thesame case on his end. He asked how he should deal with it,” James said, making Amanda closeher

“Have you done an investigation on those companies because as far as I know, they aren’t sincere,

“Is there anything else you want to say?” she asked as she raised her eyebrows.
“The others are some newly established companies. There are a lot of them, those companies thatstarted three to four years ago, I have included them in the previous groups. The remaining oneshave been established recently and don’t know about the conflict between the Scotts and theFlores,” Jame: said, making Amanda shake her head as she disagreed with him.
“That’s why you are wrong, if that’s the case then there should be a few of them. Carry out otherinvestigations with these newly established companies.
