Chapter 939
After getting a plaster cast at Sacred Heart Hospital, Jacob drove Elaine home to recuperate.
Elaine kept scolding Jacob who was sitting beside her. At the same time, she was trying to figure outwhy Jacob was dressed up so glamorously to attend the gathering today.
However, Jacob’s mouth was tighter than a safe.
He wanted to wait for a good opportunity to discuss the divorce with Elaine tonight. Therefore, he knewthat he certainly could not allow Elaine to find out about Matilda before that.
In the other car, Charlie drove Claire who had red eyes as they followed behind Jacob’s car slowly.
Claire was very sympathetic toward her mother. After all, she was her daughter. Whoever saw theirmother undergoing so much torture and suffering so many injuries, would definitely feel veryuncomfortable.

Charlie asked, “What news?”
Isaac replied, “The Webb family from Southaven seems to be looking around for your enemieseverywhere. They even sent someone to Eastcliff to look for Kenneth Wilson. It seems as though theyalso sent someone up to Mount Golim to look for Jordan Weaver and Jeffrey Weaver. The people whohad been sent by Don Albert to watch over them discovered this early, and they fled before anyonecould find them.”
Charlie frowned.
The Webb family had suddenly contacted Kenneth Wilson, and they were even trying to contact thefather and son from the Weaver family. There could only be one possibility for their actions. Theywanted to unite more of his mortal enemies to deal with him.
There had been no movements or actions from the Webb family after Donald and his son, Sean, wereinsulted and fled back to Southaven. Charlie initially thought that the Webb family finally realized thatthey could not afford to mess around with him. He did not expect them to be secretly planning to getback at him.
Charlie asked, “So, who else did they contact?”
Isaac replied, “The Webb family also sent people to contact some of those people that you have taughta lesson to in the past. However, they were all very lowly and pathetic people who cannot do muchharm to you even if they wanted to. For instance, the adulterous couple who bullied your classmate,Douglas, and also their father.”
After that, Isaac asked, “Young master, do you want me to ask the Wade family to get rid of the Webbfamily directly or to give the Webb family a warning so that they would live honestly in the future?”novelbin
“No.” Charlie smiled before he said, “I do not want anyone’s help.”
Charlie was not ready to return to the Wade family yet. He even felt that he would not necessarilydecide to return to the Wade family in the future.
