Charlie continued speaking, “By the way, dad, to not make Claire and mom worry about this matter, weshould not tell them anything about this when we get back home later.”
“Yes, yes!” How could Jacob possibly have the courage to tell Elaine about this?! If Elaine ever foundout about this, wouldn’t she create a big scene over this matter? When that time came, she would turnthe whole world upside down then.
