Chapter 5305

Xion caught on to Charlie’s meaning.

Though eight-star fighters were exceedingly rare, this station was only a brief stop on Charlie’s expresstrain.

Xion felt fortunate to have boarded and taken in the stunning scenery as the train was soon to passthrough and continue on to the next stop, which would be her next destination, the Light Realm!

Xion knew she had already expressed an abundance of gratitude and was already feeling pale andpowerless before Charlie’s generosity.

She then knelt down on one knee and tightly clasped her fists, looking up at Charlie with unwaveringdetermination in her eyes.

“Master, I will give it my all!” she declared.

Charlie smiled and nodded in response.

Meanwhile, Wilfred’s eyes were flushed with excitement.

He understood the implications of Charlie’s words and realized that Xion’s cultivation would continue toimprove in the future.novelbin

Considering how young she was, with Charlie’s support, she might even be able to reach the darkrealm, something that their ancestors couldn’t have even dreamed of achieving in centuries!

In the past, the dark realm was considered the ultimate goal for warriors like Wilfred, yet it remainedfrustratingly out of reach. Despite there being the Transformation Realm and Grandmaster Realm inmartial arts, Wilfred saw them as no longer the highest levels attainable by humans.

The Dark Realm was the ultimate destination, almost unattainable, and the end of martial arts as heknew it.

But now, Xion had arrived at the gate of the dark realm.

The following day, soldiers from the Dragon Temple began to arrive in Aurous Hill from all over theworld.

Some flew directly from neighboring countries, while others traveled first to nearby cities before makingtheir way to Aurous Hill.

Charlie was cautious because he couldn’t be certain whether any of the three remaining marshals ofthe Warriors Den were currently in the country.

If they were, and they found a large number of warriors concentrated and maneuvering, they wouldundoubtedly grow suspicious.

If these warriors from the Dragon Temple were targeted by the enemy, they would be easily followed tothe Elys-Champ Hot Springs Villa.

Charlie’s caution was not unfounded.

Gideon Alastair, the most powerful of the four Marshals of the Warriors Den, was currently on a missionto find Maria’s whereabouts in Eastcliff.

During the last video conference, the Lord had given him a new order, travel to Aurous Hill and locatethe whereabouts of Bruce Wade and Lily’s only son, and then kill him. However, the top priority was stillfinding Maria and her ring.

Gideon Alastair wasn’t interested in the task of finding and killing Charlie.

He believed that Bruce and Lily were already dead souls of his subordinates, and being the son of adefeated general was meaningless. Even if he did manage to find and kill Charlie, it wouldn’t beconsidered a significant contribution to the Warriors Den.

On contrary, finding Maria was different.

She held great significance to the Lord, and if he could find her and the ring, it would be a massiveachievement, and he would be rewarded generously.

This was precisely why Gideon Alastair wasn’t in a hurry to go to Aurous Hill.

He had set a deadline for himself, if he couldn’t find Maria’s whereabouts in Eastcliff by September 1st,he would then set off to Aurous Hill to track down Charlie’s trail.
