Chapter 5301

Charlie knew from the outset that concealing the clues of the nearby anti-aircraft guns would be noeasy feat.

So he cunningly instructed Wesley to stir up trouble and placed all the clues on Blackwater’s figurativeplatter.

Now, inexplicably, top-level Blackwater executives in the Middle East were disappearing one afteranother.

It’s clear that someone was tracking them through the telltale signs left behind by the anti-defenseguns.

Wesley approached Charlie with an air of respect and said, “Mr. Wade, our intel indicates that althoughsenior Blackwater executives have gone missing, there’s no evidence of a base infiltration.novelbin

Rather, these individuals are targeted and taken out when they venture outside…”

“It seems the Warriors Den has learned its lesson and no longer dares to infiltrate a modern militarybase.”

Charlie nodded sagely and flashed a smile.

“It’s a good thing to have a rat-proof weapon in our arsenal.

Close-in anti-aircraft guns might stop them once, but it won’t be enough to deter them a second time.

As long as they’re apprehensive, it’s a win for us.

If we ever engage in an all-out war, they’ll think twice before recklessly attacking your Syrian base.”

Wesley clasped his hands and spoke with conviction.

“Mr. Wade, I will make arrangements to have the entire close-in artillery defense system transported toSyria.

When they come here, we’ll make sure to take out as many as possible!”

Charlie grinned, seemingly amused.

“Do you think our enemies are fools?”

After he was silent for a moment, Charlie added, “The late Marshal in Cyprus lost his life because helacked a sense of danger.

If we examine their current tactics against the Blackwater Group, it’s clear they’re no longer intimidatedby fortified structures…”

“If they ever set their sights on the Dragon Temple, they won’t launch a frontal attack.

Instead, they’ll wait for our high-level executives to venture outside the base and pounce at the rightmoment.

It’s not like you can lug a close-in defense gun around on your errands, can you?”

Wesley nodded with deference.

“I understand your point, Mr. Wade.

For now, they haven’t targeted the Dragon Temple.

But once they realize there are no gains to be had from the Blackwater Company, they’ll turn theirattention to us.

Even if they do set their sights on us, they’ll have to jump through a lot of hoops before they can get tothe top.”

Charlie flashed a sly grin.

“The constant attacks will surely keep them on edge.

With the loss of a garrison of soldiers and one of their four marshals, I reckon everyone else will belying low for a while.”

Wesley interjected hastily.

“Mr. Wade, I have more intel that I haven’t had a chance to share…”

“Two days ago, the airline registered in Singapore recalled all their planes from other countries andregions for routine maintenance upon arrival in Singapore.

They’ve even ordered several new engines from General Electric to replace the old ones.

But ordering and replacing aircraft engines is a lengthy process…” Wesley explained the situation.

“Each plane’s maintenance is scheduled one after the other, so it’s unlikely they’ll have any flightsduring this period.

It aligns with your prediction that they’ll enter a state of dormancy.”

Hearing this, Charlie nodded nonchalantly.

“Grounding their planes means no more missions from the station of the dead soldiers.

It seems that the death of the marshal really made them very nervous.

It seems that you don’t have to worry too much about the Warriors Den in the future.”

Charlie pondered over the possible scenarios.

The Warriors Den’s premises must have been sealed off by now, and one of the four marshals wasalready out investigating the Blackwater Company.

The other two were likely on the hunt for Maria and the ring she had given to Charlie. Despite this,Charlie breathed a sigh of relief knowing that his grandparents’ safety would be better protected.
