Xion couldn’t help but feel puzzled when Charlie asked her to meet him at the Elys-Champ Hot SpringsVilla.
It was certainly out of the ordinary, and it made her wonder what could be so important that he neededher there.
But without hesitation, Xion dutifully replied, “Of course, Mr. Wade.
I’ll head over there now.”
“Good,” Charlie replied.
“Take care on the road.”
With that, Xion set out for the suburbs, eager to discover what Charlie had in store for her.
It took her about half an hour to arrive at the villa, pulling up to the front gate just as she was exiting hercar to go ring the doorbell, to her surprise, the door swung open before she could even reach it.
As the door opened, Charlie appeared before Xion, beckoning her inside with a slightly anxiousexpression.
Without hesitation, Xion drove her car straight into the yard.
As soon as she stepped out of the vehicle, Charlie pulled her towards him, moving with a sense ofurgency.
“I need your help with something important, and I don’t know how long it will take,” he said, his toneurgent.
“Let’s hurry.”
Xion couldn’t help but feel a bit flustered as Charlie tugged her along.
She was surprised by his sudden intensity, and for a moment, she wondered if he had ulterior motives.
“Could it be that he wants to be with me…?” she thought to herself, before quickly dismissing the ideawith a blush.
“Hah! Xion, what are you thinking?” she chided herself.
As they hurried towards the basement, Xion couldn’t help but let her mind run wild with all sorts ofpossibilities.
Whatever it was that Charlie needed her for, she was determined to do it, no matter what.
She was even willing to put up with some excessive demands if it meant helping him out.
Meanwhile, Charlie’s thoughts were consumed by the golden Life Saving Pill he had just refined half anhour ago.
He practically dragged Xion along, eager to get to the basement as quickly as possible.
The journey made Xion’s heart race, feeling both exhilarated and ashamed at the same time.
But as soon as they entered the basement, Xion was struck by a unique and delightful medicinalfragrance that filled the air.
It was unlike anything she had ever smelled before, and she couldn’t help but feel intrigued by it.
The scent of the medicine was unlike anything Xion had ever experienced before.
Compared to the medicinal fragrances she had encountered in the past, it was like the differencebetween cheap liquor and a fine wine that had been aged for years.
The aroma was invigorating, like a cure-all for the body and soul.
Just then, Charlie thrust a golden pill into Xion’s hand, asking her to try it.
Xion looked at the pill, slightly startled by the sudden request.
“Mr. Wade, what is this elixir for? Is it a new medicine?” she asked, hoping for some clarity.
Charlie hesitated for a moment before responding.
“Yes, and no… I just took one myself, but I’m not sure if it’s working correctly.
That’s why I need you to try it for me.”
Xion was hesitant before protested.
“Mr. Wade, I’ve already taken so many priceless pills from you, and I only recently became a five-starwarrior… How can I justify wasting any more of your valuable pills?”
Charlie’s expression turned serious as he addressed Xion.
“These pills are meant to be consumed.
There’s no such thing as wasting them.
Besides, I’m not asking you for a favor.
I need your help to try this elixir.
I can’t gauge its true effect, and I need to test it on warriors I trust.
And out of all the warriors I trust, I trust you the most.”
Xion was unaware that Charlie had acquired a new medicine cauldron, or that this elixir was far morepotent than the previous Life Saving Pill.

Upon hearing Charlie’s words, Xion felt her heart swell with gratitude and loyalty.
“Mr. Wade, with you by my side, I’m not afraid of anything,” she declared.
