Chapter 5221

Charlie’s words hit Master Vail like a bolt of lightning, leaving him dazed and speechless.

After what felt like an eternity, he finally managed to ask, with an expression of disbelief, “Wade…Master Wade… This pill can really take me to the Light Realm?”

Charlie’s reply was calm and confident, “With your current level of cultivation, this elixir is potentenough to trigger a breakthrough.”

Master Vail was still in shock, “What manner of elixir is this?” he asked, incredulous “It must be trulymagical!”

Charlie grinned and replied, “Yes, this is the Life Saving Pill.

You’re familiar with it, aren’t you?”

Master Vail’s face turned ashen with shock, “Master Wade… This is the same pill that saved yourgrandfather’s life? The one that’s said to be a panacea capable of reviving the dead?”

He could hardly believe his ears, “Are you really giving it to me?”

Master Vail had seen firsthand the miraculous power of the Life Saving Pill.

He still vividly remembered the day he had watched, stunned, as it had breathed new life into LordEvans.

He also knew the difference between the Life-Extending Pill and the Life Saving Pill, having himselfconsumed the former.

But compared to the staggering effect of the Life Saving Pill, the Life-Extending Pill was like a meredrop in the ocean.

Master Vail had always been aware of the incredible potency of the Life Saving Pill.

It was common knowledge that the elixir was at least ten times, if not dozens of times, stronger than hisMaster’s Life-Extending Pill.

This realization had driven him to embark on a perilous journey to Aurous Hill in search of thelegendary pill.novelbin

Little did he know that his first encounter with Charlie would result in the young man gifting him theprecious elixir without hesitation.

Even just as Master Vail was about to leave, Charlie had set a clever trap that Master Vail had fallenfor, getting himself caught by the crafty young man.

Master Vail’s nerves were on edge as he asked, his voice trembling with uncertainty, “Master Wade…Why would you give such a valuable elixir to your subordinate?”

Charlie’s face lit up with a gentle smile, “As my loyal follower, you are my subordinate.

Think of this elixir as a gift from me to you.”

Although Master Vail was initially hesitant, he soon realized that Charlie’s words were sincere.

The young man’s serious expression convinced him that he wasn’t joking around.

And just like that, Master Vail’s excitement was rekindled.

After all, the Life Saving Pill held tremendous importance for him and the thought of possessing it madehis heart race with anticipation.

For the past two centuries, no one in the Mystic Harmony Sect had managed to surpass the eight-starmartial artist rank and enter the Great Perfection of the Light Realm, let alone come close to reaching

the Dark Realm.

As such, Master Vail had resigned himself to the possibility that he might never ascend to the LightRealm in his lifetime, much like his predecessors.

But now, Charlie had given him hope.

With the help of the Life Saving Pill, he could finally break through to the next level and the merethought of it filled him with unbridled joy!

Master Vail received the elixir with both hands, his demeanor pious and respectful, “Master Wade, yourboundless kindness and generosity will forever be engraved in my heart,” he intoned.

Charlie waved his hand dismissively, “No need for such formalities.

Take the elixir and return to your lodgings.

Focus all your efforts on breaking through to the next level.

After you’ve achieved the breakthrough, seek out Dr.

Simmons at the clinic and report back to him,” he instructed.

Master Vail had been instructed to report back to Dr.

Simmons at his clinic for a reason.

By placing him under the physician’s authority, Charlie hoped to humble Master Vail’s ego as an eight-star fighter while also giving Dr.

Simmons a chance to prove his worth.

Despite his initial reservations, Master Vail knew better than to question Charlie’s motives.

Without a moment’s hesitation, he pledged his obedience to his new superior, “I will follow your orderswithout question, Master Wade,” he affirmed.

Turning to Dr.

Simmons, Master Vail’s face was flushed with embarrassment, “Please forgive me, Doctor Simmons.

My previous conduct was inexcusable.

Your skills as a physician far surpass my own and I hope you can overlook my earlier arrogance,” hesaid, contrite.

Dr.

Simmons was quick to defuse the tension, “Master Vail, you are most welcome here.

From now on, we are all friends, so let’s forget about the past and move forward,” he said graciously.

Touched by the doctor’s magnanimity, Master Vail bowed respectfully, “Thank you, Doctor Simmons.

I will remain in Aurous Hill going forward and I am at your disposal should you ever require myassistance.”

“Much appreciated,” Dr.

Simmons replied with a nod of his head, his polite demeanor putting Master Vail at ease.
