Chapter 2690

Although they weren’t well educated, they were experienced at soldiering and still maintained basiccommon sense.novelbin

In Hamid’s case, curing his leg would be impossible by current medical standards, especially in Syriawhich lacks decent medical facilities and medicine.

The reality of his miraculously healed leg was visible to everyone as he stood tall and walked withstrength and determination.

Hamid naturally saw everyone’s reaction, and while he was so excited he wanted to shout, for his ownimage and to maintain a firm control on his forces, he kept his excitement in his heart.

Putting on a calm expression, he strode forward with deliberation, entering the cellar.

As soon as he entered the cellar, he called out, “Faisal, I have escorted Mr. Wade and Miss Riley safelyaway.

Mr. Wade also told me about your situation.

I will assure you with my life, as long as you open the door, I will not punish you, you and the rest hehas controlled can return to your respective units without retaliation!”

Faisal responded in a low voice, “My life doesn’t matter, only that Mr. Wade has been safely released! Imust be assured of that, or we will fight to the death!”

Hamid was surprised secretly in his heart, thinking: “Brother Wade’s hypnotic method is really amazing!Faisal doesn’t even care about his own life, only his loyalty to Brother Wade.

If I had this kind of ability, I could easily unify the entire opposition camp like it was nothing…”

After a moment Hamid sighed, “Faisal, do you still believe I would act against Brother Wade? Thinkabout it, how could I oppose a man so powerful? What’s more, why would I want to? Did you know thatBrother Wade is my benefactor, he healed my leg!”

In a surprised voice, Faisal asked, “Mr. Wade healed your leg?!”

Hamid said immediately, “Can I lie to you? If you don’t believe me, open the door and take a look.

Don’t worry, I’m the only one in the entire corridor.”

A moment later, there was a scraping of metal as the iron door opened slightly.

Faisal cautiously peered through the small gap and found that Commander Hamid was indeed the onlyperson in the corridor, he was empty-handed and unarmed.

Faisal breathed a sigh of relief and asked, “What you said just now is true?”

Hamid raised his hands, and spoke as he walked down slowly, “Look for yourself Faisal, are my legscompletely healed?”

Faisal was shocked, and because of the psychological hints, his respect for Charlie grew immensely.

He exclaimed, “In all the world only Mr. Wade can have such an ability!”

Hamid nodded and asked him, “So you believe me?”

Faisal said: “I believe you.” He then fully swung open the door and continued, “Commander Hamid, Ihope you will honor your promise.”

Hamid solemnly said, “Don’t worry, I will do as I said!”

He then stepped further into the cellar and pointed to the iron door of the inner cell where the captiveswere held.

“Faisal, I know you are loyal to Brother Wade, however Brother Wade didn’t come back, or give youany further orders, I hope you can still do your original job.”

Faisal nodded and said, “No problem, Commander Hamid!”

“Very good” Hamid pointed to the door and ordered: “Open the door inside.”

Faisal didn’t waste any time and immediately opened the iron door.

Hamid stepped through, and approached the seven terrified hostages.

With a sneer he spoke to them”First of all, congratulations! I’ve promised Wade brother you won’t beexecuted!”

When the seven heard this, they burst into tears of joy.

The young Indian man asked through his sobs, “Commander, then when can we leave?”

“Leave?” Hamid waved his hand: “No, no, no, you misunderstand.

The seven of you will be slaves here.

You will live here.

You will work here.

You will die here.

You will never leave.”
