Chapter 328 The Lurk
When she was struggling, she happened to step on the carpet and fell towards Joseph who was
suddenly put onto the bed together with Hayden.
With heavy snows outside and Hayden’s warm and soft body upon him, Joseph turned absent-minded
and seduced.
Not aware of his change, Hayden put her hands into his pajamas to touch his waist directly after getting
rid of the carpet, and groaned, “It’s you that made a joke first…”
But Joseph pressed her shoulder by one hand and turned her over onto the quilt.
“No, you cannot…”
Hayden shouted and then she noticed that Joseph seemed to want to have sex with her. She was
abstracted by his expression.
He was breathing sexually, affectingly her deeply, whose breathing became quick as well. Shortly, she
pulled him down by pressing his neck.
They kissed each other affectionately and their breath sounded repressed and desirously.
The snowflakes were formed on the branches of the plum tree where the plum blossoms were coming
out and may be smell fragrant across the window.
During the whole night, the snows kept falling down which covered the whole city before the sunrise.
In the distribution warehouse of Joann Group in the Chengdong District, a team consisting of young
men and women in casual clothes were lurking for nearly a night .
A low female voice sounded in the darkness inside a washing room right across the gate of the
warehouse.
“Are you sure we are in the right place?”
“Definitely!” Stefan was staring at the gate with fixed eyes, “I have been here before and remember that
there are always some people transporting drugs to this place now and shrouding the illegal dealings in
more than 20 entertainment fields of Nanking.”
“But now it is 2:10 a.m., and I think we cannot wait any longer in casual suits.”
“Be patient.”
Stefan frowned, “They must come.”
Stella squatted lower, whose thermodetector showed that the temperature there was already minus 20,
the lowest point of it, which must do harm to them hiding stiffly.
“No, I can’t wait,” Stella pushed the button on the intercom. “Jack, do you hear me?”
After the intercom buzzing for a while, she caught Jack’s reply in the earphones.
“Yes. Here’s Jack. Please give me your order, Madam.”
“You need to withdraw now with your team since it will be colder and we have not prepared some
equipment to keep out cold. The life and health are more important.”
“What about you, Madam?”
“I will stay here and inform you if we need help.” Stella knew what he was going to say, so she
continued,
“Don’t waste time. Just go.”
Jack had nothing else to do but say, “Ok, I got it.”
It’s so dark that the members of the No.1 Group of Blue Eagle Force had successfully withdrawn
without any attention in five minutes and now there were only Stella and Stefan still waiting in the
washing room.
“Are you cold?” Stella asked Stefan, “it’s fine to go back to rest if you are too cold. I will guard here. But
it’s nearly at dawn, and I am afraid that nobody will come.”
“No, I won’t go away.” Stefan replied in a fit of pique, “Why not just return with your team? I can deal
with it by myself.”
“Come on. Why so serious?” Stella became a little annoyed and answered with reproach.
“I can take the risk of my life to assist you. But my team members can’t. And I am responsible for their
safety. Are you dying to be a hero? When we finished the task, I will report your actions to the authority
to give you a punishment.”
“I don’t care. But if you do so, I will not be your partner in the next drill.”
“How can you…”
Stella was stunned at his words. She put back the gun and said angrily,
“Ok. It’s fine to change my partner. And I now will go back to fill an application of your transference.
Just go to Beijing. I don’t need you and I think it’s insane of me to stay here with you, suffering from the
bad weather.”
Then she picked up her stuffs and went away without looking back.
Stefan gritted his teeth with a blue face because of the low temperature. He still insisted until half an
hour passed and he became hungry as well. He rummaged his pocket to discover a hard thing.
It’s a piece of compressed biscuit.
He was surprised and looked at the way Stella just left, pondering.
He could understand her decision. They were just military students who only took part in drills in the
past in no fear of getting wounded although they always did a good job in the safety and protection
measures both in the armed forces and the school. But this time, they were gambling their life innovelbin
capturing the drug smugglers.
Suddenly, the sound of a motor was heard clearly at the quiet night.
Outside was the falling snows, and the whole section was lightened up by the streetlights. Then came a
white car which pulled at the gate of the warehouse. Two strong men got out of it from the front door
and three from the back door, who then opened the expansion door,
“Hey bro, I will go back to my hometown to celebrate the New Year after the trade was done.”
“Me too. I was informed that we would get loads of money this time. I am loyal to Arnold Bevis, since he
always keeps his promise.”
“He is not the boss, however. He actually obey to someone else, who is in charge and responsible for
the money distribution.”
“Who is it?”
The men were talking while another man in a black raincoat was off the car with a mask and a pair of
sunglasses, whose identity could hardly be figured out. He said,
“Stop talking. Hurry up. There were the last goods. ”
“Oh, are you scared?”
A man said carelessly, “All of us are staking our life on it. You are not the one who can do it too since
you are a coward.”
“No more nonsense, or you all will be fired.”
“Hey, what do you mean?”
Realizing that they were going to fight, Stefan frowned and considered what time to arrest them.
If he fought with the six men, he must be the loser. But this time, he was well-equipped and it’s good
chance for him to take action.
The men in the raincoat was expelled by the others and walked towards the place where Stefan
stayed.
Stefan was squatting at a corner and got the knife and the gauze with some potion ready. When he
noticed the man enter, Stefan immediately strangled him, covered his mouth with the gauze and waited
for the man to be unconscious who just struggled for five seconds.
“What a trash.” Stefan spit at him. He pulled down the man’s mask and was surprised at the face. The
fainted man turned out to be the CEO of Joann Group, Bowen Wright.
He had checked out that there were some private relations between Bowen and Franklin, but today
unexpectedly, Bowen would come here in the flesh to be a drug smuggler, which showed his
carefulness.
Changing his own clothes to the Bowen’s, Stefan tied him up tightly and hid him into the utility space.
After that, he walked out from the washing room boldly towards the warehouse.
It’s still snowing. He looked like a devil who was in want of human lives with the white snow on the
black coat.
