Kevin’s words made Hayden’s heart stop for a second.
“Why are you asking this all of a sudden?” She looked at him warily.
Kevin looked relaxed, “Actually, I really don’t know much about the outside world recently. So, I only
found out that you broke up with Joseph a few days ago. If the information from Joseph is correct, it
means that you haven’t divorced yet, right?”

Hayden started reminiscing.

escaped to the United States. Stella was not born in the United States, so her visa expired after staying

to her country and apply the visa again, the other choice was to go back to the Downey family and tell
them the truth.
Either way she chose would need her to return to her country. At that time, Hayden was very insecure.
She was afraid that she would step back into the place filled with sad memories and she would be
targeted by the man who forced her to bear a child for him. Hence, she would rather stay illegally in
United States than to return to China.
“At that time, I was a cleaner at Edison’s company.”
“A cleaner?” Kevin was taken aback.

However, Hayden did not explain much about why she chose this job.

Joseph had to do something about it.

observed the expressions on Hayden’s face.
