Chapter 119 Can'T Develop If There'S Too Much People Around

The cleanup of the hotel personnel was completely done before getting off work in the evening.

After telling the janitorial staffs to do the final cleaning, Hayden packed up to get off work and she

received a notice from the general manger of the hotel on her way home.

The traffic was extremely heavy during the rush hour, so she decided to check her phone message.

When she saw the content, she frowned and immediately dialed the phone.

“Mr. Brown, why am I suddenly requested to stay in the hotel too?”

He replied helplessly, “It’s the notice from the headquarters, I’m not sure about it as well. Maybe they’re

afraid that the foreign guests might face some issues. It would be more convenient for you to be here

and deal with these emergencies. What’s the matter? You can’t make it?

“Well, since it’s summer vacation, my daughter is still at home. The notice was too sudden and Inovelbin

haven’t thought of where to put my daughter at. Is it okay if I bring her with me?

“What do you think?”

Listening to Mr. Brown’s unpleasant tone, Hayden muttered, “All right, I’m just asking. It’s fine if it isn’t

okay, I’ll think of an arrangement.”

After hanging up the call, she directly glared at her phone screen.

The superiors only knew how to make thing difficult for the inferiors. She already wasn’t mad that they

suddenly called her back to the hotel, why couldn’t they allow her to bring her daughter along?

It seemed that she had no choice but to entrust her daughter to Alayna’s care.

Fortunately, Alayna was on leave recently and she would be home all day.

“I didn’t wish to take up your time, but it was really an emergency this time.”

“You don’t have to be so polite with me. No matter what, I’m still Stella’s godmother. How could I not

take the responsibility? Don’t worry. I’ll take good care of her.”

Alayna promised directly, “Oh, isn’t tomorrow Saturday? It’s your off day, want to go shopping?”

“I have to send Stella to her swimming class first.” Hayden explained, “They’re having a parent and

child class this Saturday, so parents have to be there too. I’ll go and have a look first. I’ll contact you if

they don’t need me there.”

“What parent and child class? It’s not even a kindergarten.” Alayna suspected something.

When Hayden went to the bathroom, she laid on the couch and poked Stella’s shoulder, “Stella, tell me

honestly. You’re suddenly so eager to learn swimming, aren’t you up to something?”

Stella was sitting on the carpet while watching cartoons when Alayna asked her that. Stella smiled and

moved back, “Godmother, what do you mean? I don’t understand what you’re talking about.”

“Come on.” Alayna pinched her face, “Your mom is a landlubber, and you’re not much better than her

too. You even cried for a long time in the shower when you were young, why would you suddenly want

to learn how to swim?”

Seeing that she couldn’t hide it from Alayna, she pursed her lips, “I’m doing this for the sake of

mommy’s lifelong happiness. If you were my mom's best friend, you must help me. Let her go to the

indoor pool with me tomorrow."

“Lifelong happiness?” Alayna turned her gaze, “What? Did you arrange a blind date for her at the

indoor pool?”

“Not really, but it’s almost the same as that.”

“I want to watch.”

“You can’t!” Stella immediately rejected, “They can’t really develop if there’s too much people around

watching them!”

“Little kid, you have so many tricks in your mind. You sold your mom away and she helped you to count

the money, didn’t she?”

The two of them was busy gossiping in the living room. Hayden was brushing her teeth in the bathroom

and knew nothing about it.

A night had passed. They had breakfast at home the next morning. Hayden slowly packed her things

and was about to take Stella to the indoor pool.

“We’re leaving.”

Before they left, she glanced towards the couch and shook her head helplessly.

Alayna was comfortably nesting on the sofa as she put on a facial mask early in the morning. She was

watching a Korean drama while eating some chips.

Everyone else would definitely plan to travel somewhere when they took an annual leave, while Alayna

just wanted to nest at home and not go anywhere.

“I’ll wait for your text.”

Hayden heard Alayna’s powerless words before closing the door. She narrowed her eyes and

pondered for a while, maybe it was about her asking Hayden to go shopping together?

When they got to the swimming pool, the morning lesson had already begun. Many parents came and

they were all young mothers. They were busy chit-chatting and changing their swimsuits in the

changing room.

When Hayden was changing her clothes, she found that these mothers who came to attend parent-

child class seemed to already know each other in groups of three or five. Listening to their

conversations, Hayden felt a little uncomfortable.

“Mrs. Thompson, why didn’t Mrs. Moore come today?”

“She’s pregnant. She just found out about it last week, so she’s staying home to nourish the fetus. Well,

that’s why I mean by we should have more babies when we’re still young. It’ll guarantee and secure our

lives in the future.”

“Which brand of milk powder did you feed your second child with?”

“Well, I only feed them foreign products...”

“...”

Hayden took off a sun-protective clothing that she wore and the huge changing room was suddenly

surrounded by the conversations about milk powder and second child. She couldn’t hear it anymore, as

if they were people from two completely different worlds.

She could see that the parents who accompanied their child here on Saturday were all unemployed

housewives. They fully relied on their husbands and wholeheartedly took care of their families. She had

an ominous feeling.

Ten minutes later, her ominous feeling was verified.

After the instructor had taught some simple moves, the pool was filled with people who wore various

color of swimsuits. The mothers brought their children and soaked in the water while chatting with each

other.

They were talking about school, grades, tutors, and teachers...

After she had been asked several times about how many children she had and where her children were

going to school, Hayden quickly escaped the scene by saying that she wanted to go to the toilet.

She would rather work overtime for a month that to hear someone rushing her to get a second

pregnancy...

What kind of swimming lesson and parent-child class was this?

After changing her clothes and walked out of the changing room, she immediately called Alayna and

asked her to go shopping together.

“Didn’t you have a swimming class with Stella?”

“Don’t mention it, the atmosphere here is just too strange. I’d better go shopping. They’ll provide lunch

today, so I’ll pick Stella up before the class break this afternoon.”

“All right, I’ll get ready then. Wait for me.”

After hanging up the call, Hayden sat on the couch in the hall of the indoor pool and took a rest. She

gradually closed her eyes and it reflected the figure of a man and a child who were getting closer to

her.

This dream was...

“Why are you here?”

A man’s deep voice echoed in the hall. Hayden was shocked and she immediately opened her eyes.

It wasn’t a dream!

Joseph wore a white T-shirt and beige-colored sweatpants while staring at her thoroughly.

Noah had already hugged her leg while she was still in a daze. Noah was so happy that his eyes

narrowed into a thin line and smiled at Hayden.

“Why are you here too?” Hayden was surprised to see them and her eyes were slightly wavering.

“Noah wants to attend swimming class.”

“Stella is in this class too.” Hayden widened her eyes, “What a coincidence?”

Coincidence?

Joseph fixed his gaze at the little kid who was still clinging on Hayden.

Noah got a leaflet out of nowhere and insisted on coming to this indoor pool. He had already begged

him for a long time. At this moment, it didn’t seem like a coincidence to him.

He didn’t know the specific reason, but since he was already here, he didn’t bother to get to the bottom

of it anymore. He asked, “Aren’t you here to accompany Stella for class? Why did you come out?”

After hearing that, Hayden moved her gaze as if she was having wicked thoughts.
