Chapter 789

Chapter 789

That night, Rosalie felt as if she had gone back in time. They had used to be this intimate. However, atthat time, he had taken the initiative most of the time.

And at that moment, she was the only one whom he would allow to serve him.

As he helped her put on her bathrobe, carried her out of the bathroom, and returned to the room, sheleaned against his chest and muttered, “Jon, do you know how much I love you now? There’s reallynothing going on between Calvin and me…”

He pursed his thin lips slightly. “Is that all you want to say?”

“Well… let’s talk about it next time.”

Jonathan’s face darkened. He had an indescribable complex feeling when he remembered how shehad taken the initiative and pressed him under her body just now.

He had always been the one in control, but when it came to her, it was a complete exception.

Jonathan put Rosalie on the bed. “Rosalie, you used to be my wife. Since I loved you before, I can alsolove you now.”

She was overjoyed. “Will you really love me?”

“Yes,” he said. “But you can’t betray me or leave me as easily as you did back then, okay?”

She looked at him and couldn’t help but raise her hands to touch his eyes, which looked like dark stars.

“Did he feel betrayed?” she wondered. In the memorial hall at the Youngblood residence and before hisfather’s photo, he had once told her never to betray him.

Was he afraid that they would repeat what his parents had done? “Jon, I must have had to leave youback then.” She gently brushed his eyebrows and eyes with her fingers. His eyes were beautiful, yetthey were also the part of his face that most resembled his mother’s.novelbin

“We are not your parents. I won’t betray you. I never did and I never will,” she said seriously.

This was her promise and vow.

His eyes flickered slightly as he thought, “Does she know about my parents? Right, if I had really lovedher back then, she would have known that. It’s not a surprise.”

“Then prove it to me for the rest of your life.” He gently pulled her hands down and held them in hispalm, feeling the slightly deformed joints of her fingers.

“Okay,” she replied.

In the next few days, Jennifer’s admission procedures were completed. She would be attending thesame kindergarten and be in the same class as Guillermo.

Jennifer was very happy after knowing that he could go to kindergarten with his brother.

Guillermo promised her parents that he would take good care of his sister in the kindergarten andnever let others bully her.

Looking at Guillermo’s serious look, Rosalie thought he was adorable. If anything happened to him, hemight need someone else’s protection as well.

However, Rosalie was happy that the siblings had a good relationship. “Can Daddy accompany me onmy first day of kindergarten?” Jennifer stared at Jonathan with bright eyes, and there was a clear desirein her eyes.

Jonathan raised his eyebrows in surprise. “You want me to go with you?” “Because many children willgo to kindergarten with their daddy on the first day of school!” Although it was not the first day ofschool, it was Jennifer’s first day.

She used to have only Rosalie with her, but now she finally had a father. She wanted to beaccompanied by her parents like the other children. She couldn’t wait to experience the feeling of beingwith her father.

“Then let’s go to the kindergarten together tomorrow,” Jonathan said. Jennifer immediately spread herarms, waiting for Jonathan to pick her up./

Jonathan pursed his thin lips and felt a little uncomfortable with her daughter’s initiative. After all, hisson would never behave as such.

Jonathan bent down and picked up her daughter, whose eyes resembled those of Rosalie.

Jennifer put her arms around Jonathan’s neck and kissed him on the face. “Thank you, Daddy. Daddyis the best.”

Her voice was so soft and tender, but it seemed to touch his heart.

Rosalie understood that her eldest daughter’s clinginess was a natural outcome of growing up with asingle mother. She knew that her daughter had always craved the fatherly love she lacked.

Her eyes fell on her son as she wondered, “Has Guille yearned for his mother? Was there a lot ofoccasions where his mother was needed and he also wanted to have a mother standing beside him?”

“Guille, do you want me to carry you?” Rosalie spread her arms toward her son.

Guillermo said uncomfortably, “I’m not Jen.”

Although he said that, there was still a trace of desire in his eyes.

Rosalie smiled and took the initiative to pick up her son, then kissed him on the cheek. “From now on, Iwill send you and your sister to

kindergarten every day, okay?”

Guillermo blinked and suddenly asked, “Is it because Jen is going to kindergarten?” He thought,“Mommy has to send Jen to kindergarten. Is that why she’s sending me too?”

“No, it’s because of the both of you. Even if Jen doesn’t need to go to kindergarten now, I will still sendyou every day. I’m sorry. I was careless before.”

As soon as she came back, she had too many things to do. Although she had already handed oversome of her work before returning, there were still some follow-up problems to deal with.
