Chapter 333

Chapter 333

Wilma didn’t finish her last words. Her eyes and mouth were still open, but she already had no breath.

Rosalie stared at Wilma in a daze, and tears fell from her eyes.

The doctor and nurse aside confirmed the time of her grandmother’s death, and then said to Rosalie,“Ms. Leighton, sorry for your loss.”

Rosalie thought, “Sorry for my loss… But the only family member who loves me is gone!”

Suddenly, Rosalie lay on her grandmother’s side and burst into tears.

She thought, “Grandma’s body is still warm, but she has no breath or heartbeat now. From now on… Iwon’t be able to hear Grandma call me Rosalie and see her smile at me anymore…”

Rosalie cried while Jonathan was standing aside and accompanying her quietly.

Jonathan knew that she had too many tears and sadness that needed to be let out now. For Rosalie,Wilma was like a support in her heart. She was also the one who protected Rosalie after she lost hermother.

But from now on, Rosalie would never be able to see Wilma again.

Jonathan understood the pain of losing loved ones. Back then, his father was frozen to death in front ofhim. At that moment, he felt that the whole world was gone, leaving only loneliness.

Even if Jonathan returned to the Youngblood family later, he never had a sense of belonging.

Jonathan thought, “No, Perhaps for Dad, death was a kind of relief. He loved Mom so much thatstaying alive was too painful for him after losing her.”

But Jonathan’s father had forgotten that he still had a child. All his affections were given to the woman. He only left his child a suicide note that told his identity and the wish of letting his child return to theYoungblood family.

Rosalie cried for a long while. In the end, her tears seemed to have dried up. She was just roaring andsobbing.

“Rosalie, let your grandma rest in peace,” Jonathan finally said.

Rosalie sobbed with her red and swollen eyes. “Yeah, I have to let Grandma… rest in peace…” Aftersaying that, she finally covered her grandmother’s face with her hand reluctantly. Then she helped hergrandmother close her eyes and mouth.

“Grandma loved me very much,” Rosalie murmured.

“I know,” Jonathan said, gently holding Rosalie in his arms. “And me as well. I will love and protect youmore than anyone else in the world. So stop crying, okay?”

Looking at Rosalie’s red and swollen eyes, Jonathan felt very distressed.

If possible, he was willing to trade anything for her not crying. But he couldn’t stop her tears from fallingdown.

“Your tears make me feel that even breath will hurt.” Jonathan lowered his head and gently kissedRosalie’s swollen eyes. Jonathan thought, “Stop crying. I will heal your pain. No matter how long it willlast, I’ll be with you and protect you as I promised.”

Rosalie’s relatives, namely, Daniel, Edward, and Sarah finally arrived at the hospital two hours laterafter being informed by the hospital that Wilma passed away.

As for Rosalie’s grandfather Luke, he didn’t come to the hospital on the excuse that he was afraid thatif he came to see the body, he would be stimulated and feel sad, resulting in worse health.

Rosalie didn’t know how her grandma would feel about her grandpa’s words.

When Daniel, Edward, and Sarah saw Rosalie,,

ir first reaction was that Rosalie should also share the cost of her grandmother’s cemetery and funeralon behalf of her mother.

Rosalie couldn’t help but feel angry. She thought, “Grandma has passed away, but they only care aboutthe money!”

“Share the cost, right?” Jonathan, who had been silent by the side, said

Only then did Daniel and Edward realize that there was someone else in the ward. Since they camehere too hurriedly and they were attracted by Rosalie’s wedding dress, they didn’t notice Jonathan.

And then Daniel’s and Edward’s expressions suddenly changed. They had already recognized the manin front of them, who they had seen in the Foster residence that night.

At that time, they wanted to give Rosalie to the stupid son of the Foster family. However, this manbroke in with a bunch of people at night and took Rosalie away directly.

After that, they were even detained by the local police station for several days.

You… What are you… doing here?” Daniel and Edward stammered.

After seeing Jonathan, Sarah said, “Rosalie, your boyfriend is also here. If you can’t afford the cost bythen, ask your boyfriend to help you. You won’t refuse to pay for your grandma’s funeral and cemetery, will you?”

When Rosalie was about to say something, Jonathan had already gently pressed his hand on hershoulder and said to Sarah, “We can pay it, but can you afford that?”

Sarah was confused. She thought, “What did he mean?”

Daniel and Edward hurriedly told Sarah about what happened in Chris’ house before briefly.

Because Sarah wasn’t there that night, she only knew that Rosalie had taken Jonathan to visit Wilmasome time ago.

When Sarah learned that Jonathan was the man who took Rosalie away, her expression changed aswell. She looked at Jonathan in confusion and murmured, “Who the hell are you?”

“I’m Rosalie’s boyfriend. I think I’ve already told you that,” Jonathan said calmly.

“Why didn’t you tell us last time that you were the one who took Rosalie away from the Fosterresidence back then?” Sarah said angrily.

Jonathan sneered and asked, “Why should I?”

Jonathan’s eyes were cold and fierce, which made Sarah tremble. She couldn’t help but feel scared.

Sarah thought, “This man is not ordinary. His eyes look noble and cold. Why didn’t I notice that lasttime?”novelbin

But then, Sarah seemed to have thought of something and calmed down again. “I don’t care who youare. But if you want to come here to show off, it won’t work. Our family also has a background. As longas my daughter says something, you and Rosalie won’t even be able to stay in Strico.”

Danjel and Edward also seemed to be reminded. Their expressions changed at once and they becamearrogant. “Right, we have a backer now!”
