Chapter 1094

Felix’s eyes widened in surprise, and a hint of panic appeared. Even for a child his age, it was tough tohide their feelings altogether, no matter how observant they were.

“So what are you going to do? Do you want to go back? Or do you still want to stay with theYoungblood family?” asked Jonathan smilingly.

Felix was a little scared. Even though Mr. Youngblood was smiling at him, he still felt like his throat wasclosing up, and he couldn’t catch his breath.

“I…” The words he wished to express, his desire to remain with the Youngblood family, got caught inhis throat. He couldn’t voice them.

“If you wish to leave, I won’t stand in your way. However, you must avoid mischief if you remain with theYoungblood family. Even as a child, I won’t overlook misbehavior within our home. Regardless of yourfather’s identity, I will take action if necessary,” Jonathan cautioned.

Felix’s little body shrank back. “I… don’t have any malicious intentions. I didn’t push Aiden down thestairs.” He plucked up his courage and stammered out the sentence.

Jonathan said with a half-smile, “I don’t care about the truth. It doesn’t matter to me whether youpushed him or not.” Jonathan didn’t care about Aiden’s life or death.

What he cared about were only Rosalie and their children. He didn’t care about anything else.

“I just don’t like people trying to make a move toward my family. I hope you understand what I’msaying,” warned Jonathan.

Felix’s little face became extremely pale, and he could only mumble, unable to answer coherently.

“All right. If you understand that, then you can leave,” said Jonathan.

Felix lowered his head and walked out of the study. When he returned to his room, he saw Jennifersitting there,

Felix’s eyes sparkled, and there was a touch of excitement in his voice as he exclaimed, “J… Jen! Ican’t believe you’re here! Are you staying the night? Want to hear a story? I’ve memorized a few justfor you. I can share them.”

Jennifer bit her lips and glared at Felix with clear, sharp eyes.

Felix suddenly felt uneasy. His original excitement cooled down, and he asked, “W… what’s wrong,Jen?”

“Tell me the truth! Did your Daddy come to see you today to take you back home?” questioned Jennifer. After thinking about it for a long time, she couldn’t help but run over to Felix to ask him about hisdecision.

Felix’s expression changed drastically, and he looked pale. “Ho… how did you know that?”

“So, you were really planning to leave?” shouted Jennifer. Her eyes widened, and she suddenly felt likeFelix had hidden things from her and had deceived her. It turned out that he had already been ready toleave. Jennifer thought, ‘All these while, I have been saying to him about how I wanted to be friendswith him for the rest of our lives and wanted him to stay with the Youngblood family forever!

He must have been laughing at me when he heard me say those things!” In an instant, tears welled upin Jennifer’s eyes.

“My daddy wants me to go back, but I…” Felix wished to express his desire to remain with theYoungblood family, but Jennifer’s following words abruptly silenced him.

“Then leave! Why are you still here? I’m glad you are leaving! I don’t want a person like you to be myfriend anyway. I couldn’t care less about it! Felix, I hate you!” yelled Jennifer as she left Felix’s roomindignantly and ran off

Felix looked at the open door in a daze, and his little body stiffened.

It felt like a string in his heart had suddenly snapped.

Felix thought, ‘I had chosen to stay here because I had been reluctant to leave her, but it turns out thatshe doesn’t care about me at all and doesn’t want to be friends with me anymore!

This is the second time she said she hates me!

It was meaningless for me to stay here anymore!’

After a long time, his little body moved. Then he opened the drawer and took a piece of paper from it. Itwas a piece of paper with Wyatt’s phone number on it.

Felix thought, ‘Maybe it is as Daddy said. If I stay with the Youngblood family, I will never get what Ireally want!

What I truly desire is not just Jen’s smile but also…

In the middle of the night, Felix went down to the living room, took the telephone, and dialed thenumber written on the paper.

After a while, his call was connected to the other side.

“It’s Felix,” he said.

“So, have you made up your mind?” Wyatt’s voice sounded from the receiver.

“Yes.” Felix gently nodded and said, “I want to go back to the Serton family.”

However, when he informed Wyatt of his decision, his voice was choked with sobs, and tears seemedwelling up.

“All right. My car will be at the entrance of the Youngblood residence in half an hour.” After saying that,Wyatt ended the call.

Felix hung up the phone and thought, “Half an hour? I only have half an hour left in this house?”

He went back to his room and looked at the things in it. He mused, ‘None of these belongs to me!

When I first arrived here, I had nothing with me. Now that I’m leaving…’ He paused for a moment, andthen decided to take the doll Jennifer had given him.novelbin

Then Felix quietly walked to Jennifer’s room door. He pushed it open and crept in.

Jennifer was lying on her bed and had fallen asleep, but there seemed to be tear stains on his face.

“Had she been crying? Why was she crying?” Felix wondered.

He looked at her quietly, then raised his hand and gently wiped the tears on her face. After that, hewhispered to her, “Jen, I’m leaving now. If I want to get what I want, I need to leave. One day, no onewill look down on me again. At that time…”

Whatever he said next was something no one heard.

The tiny little kid walked out of the mansion with only a doll in his hand. He arrived at the gate of theYoungblood residence.

He stepped forward to push open the iron gate. Oddly, it was unlocked, and he could open it smoothly.

Felix didn’t dwell on it, as he had already spotted a silver-gray sedan approaching.

When the car stopped in front of him, Felix saw Wyatt get out of the car and walk toward him. “Sinceyou have decided, you can’t return here anymore. Hereafter, you will not be Felix Hamilton from theYoungblood family but Felix Serton of the Serton family.”

“Felix Hamilton… No, I am Felix Serton now,” he thought and then nodded in confirmation.

Wyatt’s gaze fell on the doll in Felix’s hand again. He knew from a glance that it belonged to a girl. “Doyou want to take this doll with you?”

Felix nodded again.
