“Accident?” Rosalie was startled. “What the heck is going on?”
Warren told Rosalie about the diagnosis in the hospital and said, “You are her friend. What I saydoesn’t work, but maybe she’ll listen to what you say. Persuade her to give up this baby. If her bodycan’t bear the stress at the end of the pregnancy…”

Rosalie blinked and looked surprised.

The next day, Rosalie came to Amelia’s shop and found that Lillian was also there. Lillian was justthere to chat with Amelia.

Seeing Rosalie coming, Lillian smiled and said, “What a coincidence. All three of us are here today. Ifthere is another person coming, we can play poker. Amelia was amused by Lillian’s words. “Why do you think about poker all the time? Do you want to playa round?”
“A little. After my child is born, let’s play a few rounds of poker!” Lillian looked at Amelia’s abdomen andsaid, “Amelia, where will you have your pregnancy checkup later on? Do you want to go to the hospitalI am in now? My doctor is not bad.”
Amelia hesitated before answering, “No, I already have a contact at Women’s Health Hospital.”

Amelia was stunned and looked at Rosalie.
“Warren asked me to persuade you to abort the child. He said that the risk is too high and it’ll affectyour own safety. However, I want to hear from you if what he said is true,” Rosalie said.
Lillian was shocked and said, “What? It may be dangerous for Amelia to have the baby? What is goingon? Is it because of Amelia’s age? Isn’t 40 years old still okay?”
