Chapter 1056

However, as she apologized, tears rolled down her face, and she felt her heart sinking into anunfathomable abyss.

The following day, Amelia went to the hospital and informed the doctor of her decision to have amedical abortion.

“Have you discussed it with your husband? Getting an abortion at your age might make it harder to getpregnant again.” asked the doctor. After all, the doctor still remembered that Warren had asked aboutmorning sickness.

“He is not my husband, and I believe that the decision of whether to keep this baby is mine to make. After all, shouldn’t women have the sovereign right to decide about motherhood?” Amelia replied.

The doctor sensed that Amelia was determined and prescribed the medication.

Amelia trudged into the pharmacy and lined up to get her medicine.

After she took the medicine today, she would bid farewell to the baby growing inside her, once and forall.

Despite considering the possibility of keeping the baby, she was hesitant. to take the risk. She couldn’trisk the uncertain future with Warren after the baby was born. She was also afraid of the harm that theneighbors. could cause to Matilda and Aiden with their gossip.

Therefore, in the end, perhaps she could only feel sorry for her unborn child.

“Baby, choose a better mother if you want to be reborn again next time. Don’t choose someone likeme,” Amelia murmured.

It was her turn now. She handed over her medical insurance card to the pharmacy staff. After a shortwhile, she received back her card and the medication for her miscarriage.

While Amelia was getting ready to put the medicine and card in her bag, someone suddenly grabbedher wrist.novelbin

Amelia was stunned as she gazed at the man and her heart skipped a beat.

It was Warren! Once again, he appeared right in front of her like this.

At that moment, Warren’s gaze fixed upon the medicine box in her hand. while a deep darknessovershadowed his expression.

With all her strength, she attempted to free her wrist from the grip of his five fingers.

His fingers were as strong as steel bars and prevented her from freeing herself.

“Are you going to abort this baby?” he asked with a hoarse voice as if each word were being squeezedout of his throat.

“Yes,” she uttered firmly.

His gaze shifted from the medicine box to her face. His deep and. piercing eyes were unwaveringlylocked onto her. “How can you-”

She asked, “Why can’t I? I have the right to decide whether I want to give birth to this child. No oneelse can interfere.”

‘But this is also my child!” he yelled. The suppressed emotions couldn’t be held back any longer.

Amelia felt severe pain in her wrist like it was going to break.

“Warren, let go of me!” With a frown, she firmly commanded.

He pursed his thin lips and suddenly snatched the medicine from her hand.

“Hey! What are you going to do?” she inquired quickly and tried to get the medicine back.

However, Warren simply discarded the medicine directly into the garbage bin.

Amelia appeared anxious when she saw this. “Warren, what are you doing?”

She was eager to pick up the medicine from the garbage bin, but he had already grabbed her wrist andwanted to take her out of the hospital.

“Let go of me! Where are you taking me?” She fought back harder.

He simply bent down, picked her up in front of everyone, and strode toward the hospital entrance.

“Put me down!” Amelia requested as she felt embarrassed.

Warren ignored her and took Amelia to the hospital entrance. A black car was already waiting there, and the driver got out to open the door for Warren.

A hospital security guard stepped forward to ask when he saw Amelia struggling. “Sir, what is yourrelationship with this lady? She seems unwilling to get in the car.”

“She is the mother of my child! If you’re concerned about a potential problem, you can record my car’slicense plate number and notify the police,” Warren replied coldly.

After he said that, Warren put Amelia into the car and got in as well.

The driver quickly returned to the driver’s seat and drove away.

The security guard appeared visibly embarrassed, while his colleague beside him speculated, “Itseems likely that there is a conflict between them. Did you notice how the woman didn’t deny being themother of that man’s child?”

“That’s right. His car is not cheap, costing over 600 thousand dollars. If he is a bad person with illintentions, there’s no need for him to use an expensive car to kidnap people, especially in places likehospitals.”

At the hospital, the security guards started guessing. In the car, Amelia. felt inexplicably flustered.

Warren was calmer in the car now compared to his previous emotional and angry state at the hospital.

But the calmer he was now, the more nervous she felt.

It was like the calm before the storm. Maybe there would be a strong wind and rain soon.

“Why did you decide to have an abortion?” Out of nowhere, a chilling voice echoed through the car, causing Amelia to shudder in fear.

Amelia bit her lip. “This child shouldn’t have existed.”

Warren suddenly sneered. “This child shouldn’t have existed? Or is it because the child belongs to mybloodline that it shouldn’t exist?”

She choked, and then heard him ask, “If you’re pregnant with another man’s child, would you be willingto give birth to the baby?”

Amelia’s body quivered as a sense of suffocation permeated the car and made her extremelyuncomfortable.

“I-“Just as she was about to speak, a big hand abruptly covered her mouth.

“I don’t need your response!” His eyes were filled with panic and regret as he stared at her.

“What kind of response do I expect? Maybe, after I hear her answer, I will only feel even moreremorseful,” Warren mused.

“Amelia, you can’t have another man’s baby! Impossible!” he said. He appeared to be informing herabout it, but it felt more like he was talking to himself.

She could feel the intense heat surging through her lips as they touched his palm.

Suddenly, her phone inside the bag began to ring. Amelia quickly reached for her phone. However, assoon as she pressed the answer button, Warren already had her phone in his hand.

“Amelia, I just visited Zeki. I will be with you shortly. Are you currently at the concession stand? I havepurchased some incredibly fresh seafood that you can indulge in tonight,” said Rosalie over the phone.

“She’s not in the concession stand now” Warren said.

The other end of the phone suddenly fell silent.
