A few days ago, when Alpha Nick left Sheridan at the resort, she felt empty but with great determination, she made a call. “Send the chopper.”

When she boarded the chopper, after passing a note to Goldie, the sad realization that they were going to waita long time to see her again hit home. This was all because of Alpha Nick. If hechose his mate, it was well understood, so why would he not stay with her?
Alpha Nick was uneasy with the turnout of events. He expected to see Sheila and not some blonde. He recalled he had seen her a few times withSheila, except he never spoke to her.
