Athena removed the heart–shaped pendant from her neck, something shehad never taken off before. It was a cherished possession, and Bree had often asked for it, but Athena always refused.
Now, she was giving her most treasured gift to Sheila. The heart–shaped pendant opened into two, with a picture of Athena on one side and a picture of Sheila and Alpha Nick on the other.
It was the only picture they had taken together on their wedding day, a moment Athena held dearand kept close to her heart, never revealing the secret the pendant held.
