The house was neat and spotless.
James rushed up the stairs to Quincy’s room. The door was closed, so James knocked on the door.However, no movement could be heard from inside.
He twisted the doorknob and found it unlocked, so he gently pushed it open.
The blankets inside the room were neatly stacked. James walked over and reached under them. Thebed was cold, and it was evident that no one had slept on it throughout the night.
Maxine scanned the room and said, “I don’t think she came back last night.”

The two walked out of the villa.

James shook his head. “Quincy’s house was empty. They weren’t at the company either. Neither oftheir phones can be reached. It’s as if they just evaporated from this world.

“I do have someone in mind.” James snapped out of his thoughts and took out his phone. He searchedfor Scarlett’s number and dialed it.
