Harper’s eyes glinted. “Have you finally admitted that I’m beautiful?” James was at a loss for words. She stared at him. “Why are you so confident?”
“It’s because Lord Goyo needs US the most right now,” James said slowly, ”More importantly, Lord Goyo can’t afford to offend US now.”
Harper seemed to have understood something. She gave James a thumbs up. Then, she kissed him and winked at him before turning to leave.
