Before James could go into seclusion, Landry appeared with bad news.
After the Seraphic Sect was attacked, their leader, Xezal, fled to the Hagios Sect with injuries.
“Was it the Morro Sect?” James asked with a frown.
“Yeah.” Landry nodded lightly.
‘Where’s Xezal right now?”
“She’s in the main hall.”
“Alright. I’ll go see her.”
James rushed to the main hall.
When he arrived, many of the sect’s elders were already gathered.
An injured woman sat inside the main hall. Her hair was messy, and her white dress was stained red.She looked in a terrible state and looked nothing like a peerless powerhouse.
Landry walked into the main hall and sat down in front of it.
“Sit.” He waved his hand, and chairs appeared throughout the main hall.
James sat down and scanned Xezal. She was badly injured, and her aura was weak. After checkingher condition, he asked, “Was it Xayvion from the Morro Sect?”
Startled, Xezal asked, “Xayvion? The Morro Sect? Don’t tell me Xayvion is behind the Morro Sect?”
James nodded and replied, “Yes, unfortunately. When I went to the Halcyon Road, I fought against him.He is already at the fifth stage of the Transcendental Bliss Rank. With the addition of his Obsidiannovelbin
Body, he is really powerful. If the hidden powerhouses do not take action, he’s practically invincible.”
“I didn’t know,” Xezal said weakly, “The Morro Sect did indeed attack us, but I didn’t see Xayvion. Hedidn’t show up.”

Landry looked at James and asked, “What do you think, Mr. Caden?”
James wanted to get rid of Xayvion and leave the Anceralos Era. However, he was not strong enough.
He answered helplessly, “How would I know what to do? I’m not even at the Transcendental Bliss Rankyet. Xayvion is already at the fifth stage of the Transcendental Bliss Rank. I’m no match for him. Figureit out yourselves. I’ll be going into seclusion.”
James left a few words and walked away.
Xezaal quickly stood up, rushed before James, and blocked his path.
“You can’t leave.”

Xezal answered, “You brought Xayvion here, so you must deal with him. You should already know howto counter his Obsidian Body. If not, you wouldn’t be chasing after him in the first place.”
“Haha,” James chuckled and said, “You intervened when I was about to kill him.
If you weren’t so nosy, these things could’ve been avoided. So many innocent lives were lost becauseof you.”
Xezal lowered her head in shame and said, “l-l was wrong. The Morro Sect has taken over my sect andtrapped my members. If you don’t help, they will die.”
